How to Search for Little Lu (Unbound Cavern)

The “Search for Little Lu” objective pops deep inside the Unbound Cavern, one of the darker underground areas in Where Winds Meet. This part of the story happens after you learn that Little Lu has been taken by a group connected to the Human Market, and you must track her down before she’s moved deeper into the criminal network in Where Winds Meet. The “Search for Little Lu” objective is the final part of tracking the three little girls, Fu, Shou, and Lu, in the underground area. The game doesn’t give very clear directions here, so players often get confused about where to go to find Little Lu.

Explore the Ghostlight Market

After you defeat Dao Lord, follow the path to the Ghostlight Market. As soon as you enter the market, move toward the front area where Horse-Face is leaning casually against a stone pillar. Near him, you’ll notice pieces of Little Fu’s clothing lying on the ground. Use your Wind Sense ability to see her footsteps.

Follow them until they lead you to a Strange Barrel standing close by. Approach it, interact, and you’ll discover Little Fu hiding. Although she refuses to confess where the other two girls are, she will begin following you as you search for the rest of the group. Use Wind Sense again to continue tracking.

Search the Market for Little Shou First

The Wind Sense trail will lead you deeper into the market, stopping behind the counter of one of the small shops. This is where Little Shou is hiding. Once you interact with her, a conversation begins where the girls explain their side of the story. The girls deny knowing anything about the real Gold-Making Vessel and instead show you the one they made themselves, which is completely fake.

They mention that Little Lu would know more, which means she is the last girl you need to find.

Bluff to Lure Out Little Lu

After finding Little Shou and Little Fu, the Young Wanderer can bluff about hurting the girls to get Little Lu to reveal herself. This works. Little Lu reveals herself, but only briefly. You can spot her on top of the nearby rooftop. Step outside the shop, climb up to the roof, and activate Wind Sense once more. Her glowing footsteps trail across the roof and suddenly drop off the edge, leading you down toward a darker, lower area of the Ghostlight Market.

The trail might initially look like it stretches far into the distance, but this is misleading. Little Lu is actually hiding very close to where the footprints begin, just underneath one of the rooftop tarps.

Find Little Lu and Make a Choice

Once you find her hiding under the tarp, the quest presents a choice: you can either hand the girls over to the authorities or ask them to tell you the truth. If you choose to hear their explanation, Little Lu finally admits that the fake gold basin was only a trick used to pass off counterfeit coins as real ones. With Kaifeng suffering from a coin shortage, this was their way of survival.

Return to Small Shop

Finally, return to Pale Stitches, the small shop where the other two girls are waiting. After the group reunites, press them for more answers. The girls will continue their story and explain how they smuggled Tang coins to Kaifeng in Where Winds Meet.

The girls then insist on visiting the docks, where the Ghost Market still accepts Tang coins. Once you follow them to the docks and complete the conversation, the Accident Quest in the Universal Furnace chapter officially comes to an end.
