How to Find and Use Super-Jump Ramps in Road Trip Mode

Kirby Air Riders is a completionist’s dream game, thanks to the hundreds of challenges and collectibles that offer dozens upon dozens of hours of gameplay. However, some checklist challenges may trip up some players due to their vague descriptions.

One of the last challenges for Road Trip mode in Kirby Air Riders took me a while to complete, and it’s the one asking players to ‘launch off a super-jump ramp.’ You may end up completing Road Trip mode fully (even more than once) without finding this so-called ‘super-jump ramp.’ Luckily, we managed to find two of them in two seperate stages, so here’s a guide on what it is and how to find one for the challenge.

How to Find a Super-Jump Ramp in Kirby Air Riders

Road Trip!

Some players online on Reddit and other places have mentioned that the Super-Jump Ramp in Road Trip mode can only be found on the Metro Motorway level in stage 3, but we’ve actually managed to find one on stage 7 in the Silent Side Street location (as well as Metro Motorway). We’re not sure if these are the only spots where the ramp will appear, but it’s all we’ve got to work with at the moment.

The Super-Jump Ramp is a random spawn that you’ll see while traveling on the road, just like the cannons, explosives, Road Miles, and the other collectible items you can pass through between stages. You’ll know it’s a Super-Jump Ramp when you see a circular pad on the road (its icon is two arrows pointing upwards, as seen in the images above). Using the ramp will cause you to leap far ahead on the road, and it’ll give Kirby (or your chosen playable character) an extra stat point towards gliding, letting you soar a bit farther in the air with your machine.

There are whispers that the ramp will appear if you do poorly in challenges or whatnot, but it popped up for us during a pretty successful run, so we’re not sure what triggers it on the road.

You would think this challenge gives you a sick reward for figuring it out, but you just get a new Icon for your customizable License Card of one of Kirby’s longtime enemies. Here’s a picture of it!
