As one door closes, another opens, which is what players will witness during Fortnite‘s upcoming Zero Hour live event. From what has been revealed, it seems as if the event will act as a finale for the entire chapter, as the key art shows characters from a wide variety of Chapter 6’s biggest crossovers. But that’s not all, as Fortnite will also be giving players a first look at new collaborations that will be making their debut in Chapter 7. Epic Games recently confirmed that Kill Bill‘s The Bride will be coming to the game, and it was even teased that a crossover with Back to the Future could be on the way. As the hype for Chapter 7 continues to build, many players are eager to get their hands on every scrap of information available.

Fortnite Leak Teases Return of Fan Favorite Characters

A prominent Fortnite leaker surprises players by revealing that multiple fan favorite characters could be coming back to Epic Games’ battle royale.

Playboi Carti Confirms Upcoming Fortnite Collaboration

Over on Twitter, several Fortnite leakers recently began to claim that the American rapper Playboi Carti would be getting a collaboration soon. Playboi Carti himself confirmed the rumors by posting the Fortnite logo on his official Instagram account. Underneath the post, he also commented: “NAHH FR.” This isn’t much to go on, but many fans have already expressed excitement about the upcoming collaboration. While there’s no way of knowing the full details just yet, the leaker Kurrco claimed that the collaboration could come with both cosmetics and some kind of live event. Epic Games has held live musical events in the past, like Fortnite‘s Daft Punk concert and Ariana Grande’s explosive performance.

This isn’t the first time Fortnite has collaborated with a popular rap artist, as players have already seen Eminem, Travis Scott, and more come to the battle royale. In fact, Epic Games even coordinated a musical performance in New York City’s Times Square where Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice introduced Chapter 2 Remix, a mini-season that took place in November 2024. Some fans have already expressed the desire to see Fortnite coordinate something similar with Playboi Carti.

Epic Games is continuing to invest heavily in its musical collaborations, as it was just revealed that Season 12 of Fortnite Festival will be headlined by a member of Blackpink, Lisa. Blackpink is one of South Korea’s most popular music acts, and it’s expected that players will be able to enjoy some of their songs in Fortnite. It’s also likely that Lisa will receive several cosmetics, which could be sold in the Item Shop or included in the Music Pass. With so much content to enjoy and even more just around the corner, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Fortnite.
