Where Winds Meet: Her Legacy Quest Guide

Her Legacy is an Encounter quest in Where Winds Meet, where players have to follow a trail of treasure maps leading to far-flung locations in Qinghe in order to uncover the quest giver’s secrets.

This guide covers the solutions for all five treasure map clues in Her Legacy to give players a clear idea about where to go during every stage of the quest. Here’s the breakdown.

Her Legacy Walkthrough in Where Winds Meet

The Her Legacy quest can be started in Heaven’s Pier after Chapter One: Heaven Has No Pier has been completed. After this point, return to Heaven’s Pier in Qinghe and approach the location shown in the map above, and the Her Legacy encounter will start automatically.

Approach the quest marker and you can find the first clue on one of the shelves with the wine jars.

Treasure Map Clue #1

This clue points towards a small waterfall located west of Heaven’s Pier, right next to where the river ends. Approach the location and you’ll find an Old Angler fishing by the water. Talk to the Angler, and win the following fishing competition to obtain the next Treasure map.

Treasure Map Clue #2

This treasure map points toward the General’s Shrine, the early game area where you fight in the duel arena competition. Opposite the arena is a large structure where you can find Fu Lushou and Zhao Dali. Next to this structure are some breakable pots, stacked up by the wall (shown above). Attack these pots to break them, revealing the next clue. Then talk to the Sweeping Villager standing nearby to update the quest.

Treasure Map Clue #3

This treasure map leads to a lone hut on an otherwise empty mountain in Kilnfire Ridge (location shown above). In front of the shack’s entrance is a Woodcutter chopping down a large tree. Talk to the Woodcutter to learn that the “Heroine” left the next clue on the nearby rooftop. Follow the quest marker to the roof beneath the tree and interact with the scroll on the tiles to find the next clue.

Treasure Map Clue #4

This clue leads to an area near the Bamboo Abode, the location where you first start off your adventure in Where Winds Meet. To get there, fast travel to the Bamboo Retreat Boundary Stone and head north. Here, you’ll find a lone Hunter shooting down birds with a bow. Talk to the Hunter and win against him in an archery competition to obtain the next clue.

Treasure Map Clue #5

The final clue simply states, “See you at the Bamboo Grove Hut!” This is the hut you start the game in and where you see Ruby for the first time. You’ll find the final clue behind the Bamboo Abode, between the two small staircases.

Her Legacy Quest Rewards

Pick it up to obtain Ruby’s Letter. Find the letter in your Bag under Quest Items and read it to obtain the Red Thread cosmetic accessory. Finally, head inside the hut to the quest marker to trigger the final cutscene and complete the Her Legacy encounter. As a reward for completion, you’ll get:

• Echo Jade x25
• Qinghe Exploration x24
• Coin x10000
• Character EXP x1000
