All Sims 4 Royalty and Legacy Cheats
The Royalty and Legacy expansion pack introduced complex mechanics to The Sims 4, and it can take a while for players to fully explore all of these features. Thankfully, they don’t have to wait for their Sims to level up the Swordsmanship or slowly increase their prestige or career performance – they can simply cheat.
How to Add More Traits in The Sims 4
Traits shape a Sim’s personality in The Sims 4, and luckily, players can add as many Traits to their Sims as they want using the following cheats.
This guide compiles all of the cheats that will help players get ahead in The Sims 4 Royalty and Legacy, whether that means leveling up their skills, improving their Dynasty, or simply unlocking a few handy traits.
Before using any of the cheats mentioned in this guide, players must make sure that they’ve enabled cheats in The Sims 4. To do this, they must push down Ctrl+Shift+C or simultaneously press and hold all trigger buttons and type “testingcheats on”. After this, gamers can activate any cheat code simply by typing it into the cheat console and pressing Enter.
Royalty and Legacy Career Cheats
The Noble Career is an active career added to The Sims 4 with the Royalty and Legacy expansion pack, and it is one of the most important aspects of the EP, as Sims must be nobles in order to explore several of its other features. Therefore, these cheats help players navigate the Noble Career in The Sims 4:
- Join the Noble Career: career.add_career Noble
- Increase Noble Career level by one: careers.promote Noble
- Decreases Noble Career level by one: careers.demote Noble
When players reach Level 10 of the Noble Career, they will become the kingdom’s monarch, which gives them exclusive perks, including the ultimate power to decide other noble ranks.
Royalty and Legacy Trait Cheats
Noble Traits
There are a few traits unique to Sims in the Noble Career, but gamers can quickly assign them to their Sims by writing them down on the cheat console:
|
Trait |

|
Blue Blood |
These Sims have nobility flowing through their veins. Socializing with other Nobles and building Charisma comes naturally to them. |

Former Noble Hustler |
These Sims were previously in the Noble Career; they still know a thing or two about the quirks of high society. |

|
Promised Noble Inheritance |
This Sim has been promised by a Noble family member to take over their career if they abdicate or pass away. Promised Sims won’t be eligible if they leave the Noble Career, move kingdoms, or someone else is promised instead. |
traits.equip_trait trait_noblecareer_Promised |
|
Regal Romancer |
These Noble Sims know the value of seduction and can use their charm to enhance their Romantic interactions with other Noble Sims. They can also seduce rivals into abdicating the throne. |

Aspiration Traits
Unfortunately, there are no trait cheats that allow players to immediately claim the Ironclad Reputation trait without going through the entire Social Puppeteer aspiration. Thankfully, players can skip through the various aspiration milestones with standard aspiration cheats and quickly complete them to get the trait anyway.

Ironclad Reputation |
With an Ironclad Reputation, this Sim need no longer fear being extorted by other Sims. If they somehow end up in a scandal, he will have a much easier time apologizing for, or denying it. They will also find other Sims much more likely to cooperate when they try to extort them. |
Select the Social Puppeteer aspiration, and then use the cheat code “aspirations.complete_current_milestone” four times to skip through all four milestones, finish the aspiration, and receive the reward trait. |
Special Traits
Players can find Anasi’s Well in Ondarion’s Dambele district and complete its trials to receive a special trait that allows them to swiftly shift their favor alignment. While this reward trait isn’t exclusive to those in the Noble Career, they are the only ones who can benefit from it, so it is worth knowing its cheat code:

Threadshifter |
These Sims proved themselves to Anasi and were rewarded with the ability to shift their Noble Favor as they desire. |

Royalty and Legacy Skill Cheats
Royalty and Legacy introduced Swordsmanship as a skill, and it is one that nobles must master. Players can easily cheat their way through the Swordsmanship Skill in The Sims 4 by using the following code:
- stats.set_skill_level Major_Swordsmanship [NUMBER]
They must replace [NUMBER] with their desired skill level. For example, if they want to master the Swordsmanship Skill, all they need to do is type in: “stats.set_skill_level Major_Swordsmanship 10“.
Royalty and Legacy Dynasty Cheats
Dynasties play a major role in Royalty and Legacy. If Sims want to be respected by other Nobles, they must make sure that their dynasty has a high Prestige level. However, they also want to make sure that they keep its Unity level up, as it improves the relationship of its members. Thankfully, there are cheat codes that make it easier for players to keep these stats in check.
Players can change a dynasty’s Prestige and Unity by using the following cheat codes and changing the numbers according to their preferences:
- stats.set_stat rankedstatistic_dynasty_prestige [NUMBER]
- stats.set_stat rankedstatistic_dynasty_unity [NUMBER]
Prestige is split into 10 separate levels, and each value is associated with a level. Whereas Unity is only split into three levels, and each number will represent how high or low a dynasty is in each of these levels. To have maximum Prestige, players must replace [NUMBER] with “31100”, and to have maximum Unity, they must replace [NUMBER] with 130.

Perk Cheats
As players increase their Prestige, they will earn perk points, which can be used to obtain Dynasty Perks. Through cheats, players can unlock the Inheritable Traits Dynasty Perk Points at any level. However, the Success and Social Perk Points can only be purchased with points, meaning players will have to get or cheat for more Prestige to unlock them. Thankfully, when players cheat for maximum Prestige in their dynasty, they will have around 1,975 Perk Points, which is exactly how much they need to activate all 31 Dynasty Perks available in The Sims 4.
Below, players can see the cheat codes that they can use to obtain Inheritable Traits that can only be obtained through the Dynasty Perk Point system:

When a dynasty has an Inheritable Trait, the offspring of a dynasty member will have a higher level of this trait. So, a member of a dynasty with the Mental Affinity Inheritable Trait Perk will give birth to a baby with Mild Mental Affinity (Level 1). When this Sim grows up and has their own children, they will have Moderate Mental Affinity (Level 2). Then, this Sim’s children will have the maximum level of the affinity, which would be Strong Mental Affinity (Level 3). With cheats, players can reach the maximum level without having to reach a fourth generation of Sims.
