Dispatch Update Just Fixed One of Its Most Annoying Problems

By newsgame

AdHoc Studio has finally fixed one of the more annoying issues with its hit game Dispatch, finally letting players earn a Platinum Trophy for their efforts. The episodic and choice-driven experience, Dispatch, has been a big hit with players, earning praise for the story, characters, and the choices that have a meaningful impact throughout the course of the game.

Dispatch has been able to find so much success in such a short amount of time, not just thanks to its all-star cast, which includes the likes of Aaron Paul, Laura Bailey, Erin Yvette, and many more. That success also helped get Dispatch nominated for the Best Debut Indie Game at the 2025 Game Awards taking place in December. Still, coming from a relatively new studio, the game does have a few issues which the team at AdHoc has been rectifying, including one particular glitch that was leaving many players frustrated.

Dispatch team sends special message to fans

Dispatch Issues Message to Fans After First Week With No New Episodes to Play

Dispatch shares a special message with fans a little over a week after the end of season one, celebrating big player numbers.

AdHoc Studio released a smaller update on November 19, 2025, but for many fans, it’s a major one for what it fixes. As expected, Dispatch has a ton of trophies for players to unlock, some of which may need to be earned over multiple playthroughs depending on choices made. Unfortunately, players quickly discovered that Dispatch‘s H4ck3d by R0b3rt trophy is bugged, preventing it from unlocking even if players do everything right on their playthrough to earn it. Naturally, this has led to a lot of frustration from PlayStation players, in particular, as it also blocks the associated Platinum trophy from being earned as well.

The trophy itself tasks players with completing every hacking segment without failing even once, so naturally, players want to show off their achievement. Thankfully, the update on November 19 has finally fixed the problem, which was confirmed in a response to a fan asking the studio’s official account to fix the issue. Thankfully, for players who have already met the requirements of the trophy, it will automatically unlock when the game starts or once the save file is loaded. This also means that for players who completed every other trophy in Dispatch, the Platinum is now attainable.

For those curious, the update also fixes another achievement which was giving some players trouble. Specifically, Min Max will now unlock properly when a hero’s stat is upgraded to 10 with a random point. A new safeguard was added to prevent save files from accidentally being deleted, while a number of potential crashes have also been addressed.

With all 8 episodes of Dispatch finally available, fans have quickly wondered what’s next for the series. AdHoc Studio co-founder and Chief Creative Officer Pierre Shorette specifically addressed whether Dispatch would get a second season, admitting that the developer hasn’t ruled out that possibility. The popularity and success of Dispatch has clearly pushed the studio to at least consider such a possibility, though as of now, nothing has been confirmed or committed to.
