How to Use the ARC-XD to Get the Chalk in Paradox Junction

By newsgame

While in the destroyed version of Nuketown in Paradox Junction, players can stumble upon a remote control in 3 distinct locations. Upon finding and interacting with the remote, they will take control of an ARC-XD that’s just out of bounds.

This isn’t just a fun side easter egg in Black Ops 7, but an essential part of the main quest for Paradox Junction. If you can’t seem to find the ARC-XD Controller, we’ll show you the locations across the Yellow House Garage, Green House Backyard, and Trinity Avenue, along with the path you need to take to use the ARC-XD correctly.

Paradox Junction Easter Egg Walkthrough in Black Ops 7 Zombies

Here’s a complete guide to the Paradox Junction main easter egg quest in Black Ops 7 Zombies, complete with all steps, locations, and tips.

All RC-XD Remote Locations in Paradox Junction

In the future version of Nuketown (destroyed), there are three spawns for the RC-XD’s remote control:

  1. In the Yellow House Garage, on the bottom shelf hanging off the east wall.
  2. Inside the dirt, when standing in the Green House Backyard’s garden area, looking at the white fence facing east.
  3. On the right side of some cement boxes, when facing south on Trinity Avenue, to the right of Pack-a-Punch.

Once you’ve found the RC-XD Remote, make a note of where it is and get ready. Upon interacting with the RC-XD, you will have a limited window to use it correctly, or else it will explode when the battery runs out, and you’ll be forced to try again in the next round.

How to Use the RC-XD in Paradox Junction

  1. After finding the RC-XD Remote, you will spawn as the RC-XD itself.
  2. As soon as you spawn, head forward where you can traverse across a ramp into a sandy pit.
  3. There’s a dirt pile at the back by the fences, and you will want to head to the top of this pile.
  4. Now, face the building in front and use L3 to boost and X to jump so you can land in the garage.
  5. Press R1/Square to detonate the RC-XD when pressed against the garage door and the red barrel.
  6. The garage is accessed on Trinity Avenue as the second house down on the left, when facing east.

We’ve attached a video above to show you exactly where to go with the RC-XD so that you don’t waste time or get lost, ensuring you’re completing this step in a single round instead of 2 or more!

How to Get the Chalk and Swing Seat in Paradox Junction

The RC-XD easter egg is part of the main quest for Paradox Junction, and it’s used to get the Chalk item. Once the garage is open, head inside and interact with the girl covered in ash. She will crumble away in the wind, and after a few seconds, the magical glowing Chalk will appear, which you can pick up.

The next part of this easter egg involves acquiring the Swing Seat. To get it, use the teleporter to travel to Clean Nuketown (the past). At the Yellow House Backyard, you can find a swing set. Shoot the seat, and it will drop, adding the Swing Seat to your inventory.

With both the Chalk and the Swing Seat, you can head back to Destroyed Nuketown and interact with the broken swing set in the Yellow House Backyard to summon the twins and proceed with the easter egg.
