Diablo 4 Season 10’s Best Class is Now Official
As the sun begins to set on Season 10 of Diablo 4, a look at the Pit rankings reveals that Spiritborn has been by far the most powerful class to play in the most recent season. Spiritborn players have not only consistently gone the furthest in the Pit in Diablo 4 Season 10, but they’ve also done so the quickest, too.
The Spiritborn first arrived in Diablo 4 as part of the Vessel of Hatred expansion, becoming the first post-launch class added. When it entered the game, it dominated the meta, as Blizzard intentionally designed the Spiritborn to be overpowered in Diablo 4 initially. But as seasonal abilities have changed, players have found more ways to make the other classes viable once again. For example, Necromancers made the furthest and fastest Pit runs in Season 7, while Sorcerers came out on top in Season 8.
Diablo 4 is 11 Seasons Too Late with This New Feature
Diablo 4 Season 11 is adding a long-overdue feature that feels like it would have been better suited for one of the game’s earlier seasons.
Diablo 4 Pit Rankings Reveal Spiritborn As Season 10’s Best Class
However, according to the Diablo 4 Pit rankings from Helltides, it’s the Spiritborn who have dominated the leaderboards throughout Season 10. The highest recorded on Helltides is a Pit 144 run, which was completed in 13 minutes and 50 seconds. It takes up to number 128 in the rankings to find a player of any other class, with one player completing Pit 135 as a Druid. This is surprising in itself, as Druids have typically been underpowered in recent Diablo 4 seasons. And while more Druids do start to filter in throughout the top 200, it’s clear that Spiritborn have been the way forward for those looking to dominate the Pit in Diablo 4 Season 10.
The reason for this is likely down to seasonal mechanics. Diablo 4‘s Chaos Armor was introduced in Season 10, giving players the ability to use armor in slots they otherwise wouldn’t be able to when dropped. This has opened up the build variety massively in Season 10, and Spiritborn players now have more options to be swift, tanky, and powerful than ever. This would explain how Druids enjoyed a massive resurgence in the top end of the Pit rankings this season, too.
Those wanting to try out the best Spiritborn builds for Diablo 4 Season 10 still have some time. Season 10 is currently set to run until December 9, with Season 11 then starting a day later on December 10. That’s still a few weeks to enjoy the seasonal Chaos Armor, which is widely regarded as one of the best seasonal mechanics the game has had in a while. While grinding as a Spiritborn, that time is more than enough for players to get deep into the Pit ranks for Season 10 yet.
