How to Get a Frying Pan & Make Hamburger Steak in Pokopia
During your time in Pokopia’s Rocky Ridges area, you’ll be tasked with cooking a number of different dishes as part of Chef Dente’s questline. One of these recipes is the Hamburger Steak, but to make this, you’ll also need a Frying Pan. The problem is, it can be a little confusing knowing how you’re supposed to get the materials needed for a Frying Pan, and how you’re then supposed to make one. It’s a similar issue with the Hamburger Steak you’ll then be tasked with making with your Frying Pan. To help you out, I’ll run you through the process so you can keep on working through the main questline in Pokemon Pokopia.

How to Get a Frying Pan in Pokopia
A Frying Pan can be crafted from your Crafting Bench with two Copper Ingots. Copper Ingots must be made in a Smelting Furnace by placing some Copper Ore into it and having a Pokemon with the Burn Specialty interact with it.
Copper Ore can be found by looking out for ground blocks that have a bronze/gold colored ore in them. I’ve included a screenshot below with Copper Ore blocks in it, so you know exactly what you’re looking for.
When you find some Copper Ore blocks, you need to use your Rock Smash ability to break them. Once the block is broken, the ore can be picked up.
You’ll come across a Smelting Furnace in the caves in Rocky Ridges, and will be able to build Magmar’s habitat with the items found right next to it. Magmar also has the Burn Specialty, so I’d highly recommend getting this set up as soon as possible.
This smelting process can take a little bit of time, so I’d recommend putting some Copper Ore into the furnace and then going off and doing something else, such as making your other Pokemon more comfortable, or getting the ingredients you’ll eventually need for the Hamburger Steak!
When you’ve got the two Copper Ingots you need, go to your Crafting Bench and select the Frying Pan from the list of items.
With the Frying Pan crafted, return to Chef Dente and they’ll tell you to put the Frying Pan on the stove they’re stood next to. This should now allow you to interact with it to make the Hamburger Steak.
How to Make a Hamburger Steak in Pokopia
To make a Hamburger Steak in Pokopia, you need to combine a Bean and three other ingredients in the Frying Pan once it’s been placed on the stove (or a fire).
There are a few different types of Hamburger Steaks you can make, depending on the ingredients you combine with a bean. I’ve listed these below.

The easiest of these to make the first time for Chef Dente is the standard Hamburger Steak. However, any of these will work if you’ve got a Tomato, Mushroom, or Potato spare and want to show off.
Bean seeds can be purchased from the Pokemon Center PC. Drilbur will also give you some when you find him in the east section of Withered Wasteland, so get these planted, and you’ll soon have yourself some beans.

Place the ingredients into the available spaces in your Frying Pan when you interact with it, and let the game do the rest of the work. Congratulations, you’ve cooked your first Hamburger Steak in your Frying Pan in Pokopia.
