How to Find Machoke in Rocky Ridges in Pokemon Pokopia

By newsgame

Once you arrive in Pokopia‘s Rocky Ridges area for the first time with Professor Tangrowth, the two of you will notice that the Pokemon Center PC needs to be pushed onto an electric spot in order to make it work properly.

The professor mentions that it would be wise to befriend the Fighting-type Pokemon, Machoke, to help push the system. You’ll need to make friends with a Scorbunny nearby first before finding Machoke in Pokopia, so let’s show you how it’s done.

All Pokemon Pokopia Habitats and Requirements (Complete Habitat Dex List)

There are more than 200 habitats in Pokemon Pokopia. Here’s how to make them all.

How to Find Machoke in Pokopia

Before you create the habitat for Machoke, you’ll need more info from a certain Pokemon first. Go ahead and use Water Gun on the dried-out grass near the Pokemon Center and then use Leafage to create a Red Tall Grass habitat. You just need four pieces of the red grass to touch each other.

Once it’s completed, wait for a Pokemon to shake in the grass and then interact with it. In my game, it ended up being a Scorbunny, but it could be different for you. Speak to the Pokemon and ask them if they know about Machoke.

How to Make Grassy Training Field for Machoke

They’ll give you the details on Machoke’s habitat: a Grassy Training Field. To make it, place two Sandbags next to a 2×2 square of Red Tall Grass.

You should already have some red grass near the Pokemon Center, so all you need to do is pick up two Sandbags off the ground. You should see them near the Crafting Table, a few steps away from the Pokemon Center PC. Once you’ve placed the bags next to the red grass, a message will appear saying you’ve successfully restored the habitat. Now, just wait a moment for the Pokemon to appear in the grass.

Speak to Machoke after registering them in the Pokedex and they’ll ask you to follow them to a nearby field. Pick up 5 pieces of stone, then speak with Machoke again. The Pokemon will teach you the move Strength, so now you can push heavy objects around. Go ahead and push the nearby boulder into the area where Machoke is standing to test out the new power.

Well, now that you have the power to push the PC into its correct spot, you don’t really need Machoke’s help anymore. Go back to the Center and do your thing to get the PC connected to the network!
