GTA 6 Leak Reveals Songs for the In-Game Radio Stations
Two music artists may have accidentally confirmed their involvement in Grand Theft Auto 6, with one seemingly confirming the song that will be featured on one of the game’s in-game radio stations. Music has always been a central part of GTA‘s identity, and with Grand Theft Auto 6 being set against the bright lights of Vice City, it’s going to be essential in creating the tone of the upcoming game.
It looks as though Grand Theft Auto 6 may put a greater focus on music, even more so than previous games in the series. Many of the game’s characters seem to be involved in the music industry, continuing a recent trend established in Grand Theft Auto Online, which added a heist centered around Dr. Dre. The potential is pretty much limitless with Grand Theft Auto 6, and it seems gamers may have two artists confirmed for the game.
Grand Theft Auto 6 Boss Comments on the Future of GTA Online
For the first time, Take-Two Interactive’s CEO addresses the future of GTA Online and potential new updates after the release of Grand Theft Auto 6.
Two Music Artists May Have Confirmed Their Involvement in Grand Theft Auto 6
As spotted by X user videotechuk_, a now-deleted Instagram comment by artist Panama claims that their song “Back to Life” with band Poolside will be featured on the Grand Theft Auto 6 radio. “I’ve got a song called ‘Back to Life’ I wrote with @poolside it’ll be on GTA 6,” the artist stated. That’s a pretty explicit confirmation, but it has since been removed. The song itself is from 2023, and has an undeniable Vice City feel to it. But whether it actually makes it into the full release remains to be seen, especially in the context of this leak.

The second artist is one Grand Theft Auto fans may already be familiar with: Neon Indian. Their song “Polish Girl” was featured in Grand Theft Auto 5, with “Change of Coast” also included as the introductory music in GTA Online. Their collaboration with Rockstar has been a fruitful one, with Neon Indian confirming that there’s more to come between the two in a recent episode of the This Podcast Should Be Played Loud podcast. When discussing their past history, the artist said, “It ain’t the end of me and Rockstar Games. That’s all I’m going to say. I can’t discuss more.” Although he doesn’t explicitly mention Grand Theft Auto 6 as Panama does, it’s seemingly the only project that would make sense, especially given their past history working together.
With all the curiosity surrounding the potential music in Grand Theft Auto 6, it makes sense that there are always new rumors about who exactly the game could feature. Last year, there was one rumor that suggested Drake may have his own radio station in Grand Theft Auto 6, although there is no evidence to suggest that this will come to fruition at this point. It wouldn’t be a first for the series to have a celebrity host a radio station, with Cara Delevingne hosting Non Stop Pop FM as herself in Grand Theft Auto 5. In terms of concrete evidence of GTA 6‘s radio stations, fans are left to ponder rumors for the time being.
GTA 6 is still locked in for its November 19, 2026, release date. Rockstar recently reaffirmed that date, as well as confirming that Grand Theft Auto 6‘s launch marketing will kick off in the summer. After multiple delays and a wait extending over 12 years, it seems the finish line for Grand Theft Auto 6 is finally in sight. The trailers so far offer plenty of hope that the wait will have been worth it, and gamers seemingly have just nine months to find out for themselves.
