Disney Dreamlight Valley Reveals Patch Notes for Puppy Love Update

Disney Dreamlight Valley has unveiled the full patch notes for its upcoming free Puppy Love update, scheduled for February 11. Developer Gameloft had previously confirmed that the patch would center around Lady and the Tramp. The canine companions are the next step in Disney Dreamlight Valley‘s tradition of adding beloved Disney characters.

Fans of Gameloft and Disney’s hit life simulation title have been seeing some pretty exciting content recently. Earlier in November 2025, Disney Dreamlight Valley released its Wishblossom Ranch DLC, the game’s third expansion since A Rift in Time and Storybook Vale. The pack was praised more than its predecessors for the introduction of new mechanics like horse-riding. Later in December, players were able to meet Cinderella in-game through the Winter Ball update. Now, Disney Dreamlight Valley is getting ready to launch its first major patch of 2026 with new characters, returning events, and a new Valentine’s Day-themed event.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Just Fumbled Two Golden Opportunities in Favor of a Movie That’s (Probably) Older Than You Are

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s recent update added a classic Disney character, but it ignored 2 box office hits that could have been better fits.

The official patch notes for Disney Dreamlight Valley‘s Puppy Love update confirm the arrival of the Lady and the Tramp Realm, an area that recreates the movie’s alleyways. Fans will also be able to recreate the dogs’ iconic spaghetti kiss scene. To add Lady and the Tramp to their Valley, players will have to complete quests like helping the characters escape from dog catchers and surviving a spaghetti storm. Adding Lady and the Tramp will also give players their free Edwardian-inspired furniture piece and unlock new Disney Dreamlight Valley Friendship Quests. It is worth noting that all players can access the update as long as they have unlocked the Dream Castle and base game Royal Tools. Additionally, players may want to log into the game on February 11, 18, and 23. On these dates, limited events will modify their Valleys in mysterious ways.

Some special events are also coming to the game, starting with the new Valley Valentines event from February 11-25. This means that fans enjoy the romantic event as soon as Disney Dreamlight Valley‘s Puppy Love update launches. Players can participate in Valley Valentines to meet Disney’s most famous couples in-game and collect limited rewards. Meanwhile, the game will bring back its Lucky You! event from March 11-17 with new rewards. The popular Eggstravaganza event will also return from April 1-21. Gameloft noted some quality-of-life upgrades as well, including the ability to select and rearrange Valley decorations in groups instead of one by one. Finally, a new Star Path named “Paw-fect Romance” will be available. Players can purchase the pass to obtain Tony’s Restaurant from Lady and the Tramp and new Valentine’s Day-themed outfits for Mickey and Minnie.

While the Lady and the Tramp are some of Disney’s most famous animated protagonists, even bigger character additions are on their way to the game. Earlier in December, Disney Dreamlight Valley shared its 2026 roadmap and confirmed the arrival of new Pocahontas content for Spring. Moreover, Hercules is expected to make his long-awaited debut. Hercules antagonist Hades has been available for quite a while, so many players have wondered when the Greek hero would be released. Hopefully for fans, it won’t be long before Hercules and friends will be announced.

Since its full launch in 2023, Disney Dreamlight Valley has become one of Gameloft’s most popular life simulation games. The game recently announced its plans to land on Nintendo Switch 2 on March 25, 2026, so more players will be gaining access to the title. There are still plenty of franchises that Disney Dreamlight Valley can explore from Disney and Pixar; characters from popular sagas like Cars and The Incredibles are still missing from the game. However, the developers often conduct player surveys to see what they would like to see next, so the opportunity for their addition is still open.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Puppy Love Update Official Patch Notes

NEW CONTENT

There are no base game requirements to kick off the events of Puppy Love, except for having the Dream Castle and base game Royal Tools unlocked.

Jump into the new Lady and the Tramp Realm, where you’ll explore iconic alleyway locations from the Disney classic Lady and the Tramp, including the famous setting behind Tony’s Restaurant where you’ll recreate the romantic spaghetti dinner.
Meet the romantic duo, Lady and Tramp, and lend them a paw with the pesky dog catchers. Help orchestrate a daring dog-pound breakout and use a magical snout to reunite the pair.
You’ll then aid Lady and Tramp traverse a strange spaghetti storm before they finally join your Valley, bringing with them their beautiful Edwardian-inspired house and special friendship quests.
Progress through Lady and Tramp’s friendship quests to unlock their dashing and delightful friendship rewards.
You’ll also want to watch out for strange happenings once Lady and Tramp have joined your Valley. There’s a very noodle-y mystery afoot.
- As of Feb 11, beware of Spaghetti Tumbleweed in the Dreamlight Castle.
- As of Feb 18, 3 villagers will be needing some help with giant mounds of Magical Meatballs.

Dress to impress with charming looks inspired by Disney classics like Lady and the Tramp and The Great Mouse Detective in the “Paw-fect Romance” Star Path.
This new Star Path will let you bring the iconic Tony’s Restaurant to the Valley and unlock new Dream Styles for both Mickey and Minnie, plus new floral furnishings to match your adorable Flower Puppy companion!
From February 11 to February 25, gather items for some of the Valley’s most iconic sweethearts in the all-new Valley Valentines Event and earn exclusive rewards.
From March 11 to March 17, the Lucky You! Event returns with brand-new rewards.
Finally, from April 1 to April 21, the Eggstravaganza Event is back, introducing a new way to collect eggs found around the Valley, inside select Realms, and even in the sea along Dazzle Beach!
Add some flourish to your Dream Castle, Plaza, Chez Remy’s, Scrooge’s Store, Goofy’s Stall, Wishing Well, and Valley Visit Station with the new Deluxe Springtime Valley Bundle, coming to the Premium Shop.
You can also try out the new evolving Tangled Watering Can, with upgraded cosmetic appearances that can be unlocked by completing tasks, such as watering crops.
This update includes 2 new Seasonal packs available for a limited time.

Please note: Disney Dreamlight Valley Apple Arcade Edition does not include seasonal Star Paths or access to the Premium Shop.

IMPROVEMENTS

DECORATING

Decorating just got a whole lot easier with Group Mode, which allows you to select multiple items and move, rotate, or remove them all at once.
Rotating grouped items will be possible on a 4-point axis.

Note: Group Mode will not be available on iOS devices – we’re looking into mitigating this in a future update.

DREAMSNAPS

With the Puppy Love update, DreamSnaps results will be entirely in your hands, with 100% of scoring based on player voting! While tags will still be required to participate, they will no longer force the use of certain items, allowing you to lean into your most creative inspirations.
In addition, decor and outfit challenges will now be combined, further enabling creative flexibility when composing your DreamSnaps.
- Reward chests will continue with the current system: outfit on week 1, decor on week 2, outfit on week 3, and so on and so forth.

COMPANION AND ITEM PREVIEWS

As of this update you will be able to preview any Photo Mode pose unlocked with a given companion or item on display in the Premium Shop screen!
