How to Get a Shovel in HumanitZ

Even though a shovel sounds like it should be a basic tool that players have access to at the start of the game, such as the axe and the hammer, that is not the case. In Humanitz, players won’t be able to make their own shovels right from the get-go, which means if they want to be able to build crop beds and start gardening early, they will have to find one.

Without cheating, there is no guaranteed way to find a shovel. However, gamers can increase their chances by looking in sheds and garages, as it is here that tools tend to spawn.

Alternatively, players who want to get a hold of a shovel quickly can also cheat and take advantage of console commands, which can easily spawn items within seconds. As server admins, there are two commands that players can send in the text box in order to cheat for a shovel in HumanitZ:

/spawn item_shovel – this will immediately cause a shovel to appear on the ground
/adminw – players can open the admin menu and then write shovel in the Item Search bar to get a shovel to appear on the ground

How to Make a Shovel in HumanitZ

In HumanitZ, players will need to build a Melee Bench in order to be able to make a Shovel. Unfortunately, the materials required to build a Melee Bench require gamers to advance a bit in the game, meaning they won’t be able to craft it right away.
