Fortnite Could Be Making Big Changes to the Storm in Chapter 7
If a new leak turns out to be true, the shape of the Storm in Fortnite could be changing once the highly anticipated Chapter 7 arrives later in the month. In Fortnite, the Storm is one of the key components of the Battle Royale, and such a change would prove to be a huge shake-up for the game.
To close out Chapter 6, Fortnite has been in the middle of a crossover with The Simpsons, and it’s proven to be a huge hit for the Epic Games title. While the current collaboration has been a success, the anticipation for Chapter 7 is continuing to build, and as that excitement grows, more rumors and leaks are coming to the surface. There has already been plenty of speculation about what Chapter 7 has in store for players, and one of the newest leaks suggests that the Storm is going to be very different.
Fortnite Leak Reveals Upcoming Warner Bros. Game Mode
A prominent Fortnite leaker surprises players by revealing that a Warner Bros. game mode could be coming to Epic Games’ popular battle royale soon.
Fortnite Chapter 7 Could Be Changing How the Storm Work
Notable Fortnite leaker HYPEX shared information regarding the Storm changes on Twitter, based on information gained from fellow leakers Frezzi54 and Osirion. It’s important to remember that leaks are far from official confirmation, but HYPEX has a strong track record of revealing Fortnite news before it’s officially announced. According to the leakers, Epic Games accidentally uploaded the feature into the game’s files early, giving an unintended sneak peek at what the Storm could look like in Chapter 7 of Fortnite.
The leakers insist that the shapes showcased in the leaks are not official and are subject to change. One of the Storm shapes featured in the leaks is the formation of Hatsune Miku, while the other one appears to be the shape of the number seven or potentially an arrow. Fortnite has been teasing more content for the month, so it will be interesting to see if Epic Games hints at these Storm changes ahead of Chapter 7.
While this hasn’t been confirmed, if the Storm changes into unexpected shapes during matches, it will add an extra layer of chaos to Fortnite that could elevate the challenge. Between this and leaks teasing the return of The Seven, Fortnite could be gearing up to end the year on a high note. The popularity of its crossover with The Simpsons has already been a solid way to close out the year, but a shake-up as big as transforming the Storm is bound to take a lot of players by surprise.
