Marvel’s Wolverine May Feature an Unexpected Hero

By newsgame

A recent Marvel’s Wolverine teaser released by Insomniac Games may have hinted at the inclusion of the superhero Daredevil in the upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive, exciting many fans who have been eager to see the character appear in Sony’s popular action titles. Marvel’s Wolverine doesn’t have an official release date yet, but the developers have stated that the upcoming title will make its debut during the fall of 2026.

Many fans have been wondering when Daredevil might make an appearance in Insomniac’s version of the Marvel universe, as the hero received a nod in all three Marvel’s Spider-Man titles. The offices of Nelson and Murdock have made an appearance in each game, though there have been some slight differences along the way. For instance, one player noticed that they could see portraits of Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales when looking through the glass window of their law firm. In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the office had an eviction notice on the door until it was removed in a later patch, suggesting that something may have been happening with the hero behind the scenes. Marvel’s Wolverine could certainly take the time to introduce the hero properly and shed some light on what has been going on with him, which would likely delight a large portion of the community.

Will 2026 Make Your PS5 Feel Worth It? – Rantable

While the PS5 has been a success, plenty of players feel it’s missing something. Is the lineup of games for 2026 enough to satisfy players?

Daredevil May Appear in Marvel’s Wolverine

In a recent post on Twitter, Insomniac Games shared a short teaser for Marvel’s Wolverine accompanied by a quote that said, “Claws? What’s that, some kind of fancy lawyer lingo?” It’s not much to go on, and it certainly doesn’t confirm the appearance of any specific hero, but many fans believe the developer is teasing the inclusion of another major Marvel character. The clear favorite among fans seems to be Daredevil, as Matt Murdock has been referenced in other titles. However, there is another possibility, as She-Hulk is also a famous superhero lawyer within the Marvel universe.

Both She-Hulk and Daredevil have appeared in the MCU, receiving their own shows and even crossing over in the She-Hulk series on Disney+. While She-Hulk has only received a single season so far, Daredevil: Born Again will be launching its second season on the popular streaming platform in March. Having either character make an appearance in the Insomniac title would be an interesting decision, as most of the game’s revealed characters seem to be mutants so far.

While many gamers expressed immediate excitement in the comments of the post, fans may want to keep their expectations low. After one gamer suggested that the quote may be teasing the inclusion of Daredevil, the Twitter account for Insomniac Games responded by claiming that it’s “just a pun.” While some people have taken this as confirmation that Daredevil won’t be appearing in the title, others believe the statement is just an effort by Insomniac to keep the game’s secrets intact before launch. Either way, it’s very likely that gamers will learn a lot more about the game in the coming months. The PlayStation 5 exclusive isn’t available for pre-order just yet, but interested players can wishlist Marvel’s Wolverine on the PlayStation Store.

While there’s no way of knowing what will happen in the future, Haluk Mentes, General Manager of Marvel Games, has stated that Marvel looks forward to continuing to work with Insomniac Games for “many years to come.” Some fans have expressed the desire to see Daredevil get his own title, though nothing has been confirmed to be in the works. In the past, Insomniac Games did suffer from a security breach that suggested the developer could be working on a standalone Venom game, though the company has never openly discussed working on a project starring the symbiote. With more games likely in the works and Marvel’s Wolverine launching later this year, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of both Marvel and Insomniac Games.
