February 13 is Going to Be a Big Day for Xbox Game Pass Subscribers

By newsgame

Next Friday, February 13, is going to be a huge day for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Xbox Game Pass controversially raised its price last year, but Microsoft has been trying to appease subscribers by ensuring that there is a constant stream of new games added to the service. Whether those efforts will pay off remains to be seen, but in the meantime, subscribers will reap the benefits.

Beyond adding new games to Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft has also added more benefits to the service post-price hike. One of the big ones is the addition of Fortnite Crew to Game Pass Ultimate, giving subscribers access to all that entails, like free skins and V-Bucks. If you were someone that was already paying for Fortnite Crew and Game Pass Ultimate, you actually are saving money on the latter thanks to the services being bundled together. Others will be looking to new game additions to justify the price increase, and there are some heavy hitters on the way this month.

The 4 Biggest Xbox Game Pass Games of 2026 Are Just the Tip of the Iceberg

Four huge Xbox Game Pass games are already on deck for 2026, with many more games expected to join the service next year as well.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance and High on Life 2 Are Coming to Game Pass on the Same Day

One particularly busy day for Xbox Game Pass is coming on Friday, February 13, which will see the addition of a popular older game as well as the debut of a brand-new, day one release. On Friday, February 13, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can look forward to checking out the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance and the much-anticipated sci-fi FPS sequel game, High on Life 2. Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a known quantity and should make a great addition to the Game Pass library, whereas High on Life 2 should be a blast if it lives up to the bar set by its predecessor.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is the story of Henry of Skalitz, who finds himself on a medieval open world adventure after enduring some tragic and shocking events. Known for its hardcore RPG gameplay, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an acquired taste and won’t appeal to everyone, but those that give it a chance and allow themselves to get immersed in its world will find it incredibly hard to put down. The sequel, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, is held in even higher regard than the first game, but I definitely recommend everyone play through the OG first. Being able to play a game like Kingdom Come: Deliverance on Game Pass is great because it means that you can give it a try and see if it’s up your alley without actually buying it. It’s also worth pointing out that the game will be available to Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass subscribers, whereas High on Life 2 will be exclusive to the Ultimate and PC tiers.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is great, but High on Life 2 is certainly the headliner when it comes to new Xbox Game Pass games releasing on February 13. A day one release, High on Life 2 is the follow-up to Squanch Games’ over-the-top and hilarious FPS from 2022. High on Life was one of my favorite games that released that year, and so I am eagerly anticipating High on Life 2, which promises more chatty weapons, gaming satire, and sci-fi absurdity. It’s one of the first big new Xbox Game Pass games of 2026 and unless there are technical issues or other unforeseen shortcomings, it should be fantastic.

Other Xbox Game Pass Games on the Way in February 2026

  • Relooted (Ultimate/PC) – February 10
  • BlazBlue: Entropy Effect X (Ultimate/PC) – February 12
  • Roadside Research (Ultimate/PC) – February 12
  • Starsand Island (Ultimate/PC) – February 12
  • Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora (Ultimate/PC) – February 17

The same week Kingdom Come: Deliverance and High on Life 2 join Game Pass, subscribers can look forward to Relooted, BlazBlue: Entropy Effect X, Roadside Research, and Starsand Island. Then there’s Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora coming on February 17, plus whatever else Microsoft has in store for the second half of the month. On top of all that, only one game is leaving Xbox Game Pass in the first half of February 2026, making for a pretty strong month overall.
