Sims 4 Player Recreates Charmed House in the Game

By newsgame

Between the impressive diversity of base game content and plentiful DLC and update packs that have added even more design options, The Sims 4 has more than proven itself to be an ideal game for players looking to flex their creativity. Players have often taken advantage of the incredibly extensive customization tools and building features in The Sims 4 to recreate their favorite places from pop culture franchises across film, television, and even other video games, and one stunning reproduction of Halliwell Manner from Charmed has quickly caught the eye of online fans.

Created by Constance M. Burge and first broadcast on The WB television network in 1998, Charmed follows three sisters who discover that they are powerful witches known as The Charmed Ones and use their powers to battle against demons, warlocks, and evil entities to protect innocents and hone their abilities. The show premiered with Alyssa Milano, Holly Marie Combs, and the late Shannen Doherty in the starring roles, though Doherty would later be replaced by Rose McGowan. Charmed quickly became a cult hit, with the premiere breaking the record for the most-viewed debut episode for the network at the time and audiences repeatedly returning to the series as a comfort show in the decades to follow. One of the most iconic locations from the show is Halliwell Manor, the sisters’ magical home, which one dedicated fan recently recreated in gorgeous detail in The Sims 4.

Redditor Siginificant-End2869 shared a series of snapshots of their incredible Halliwell Manor build in The Sims 4, which showcases the beautiful Victorian-style exterior and cozy interior of the fictional San Francisco home that remains synonymous with Charmed. The exterior of the home features the familiar reddish siding and gorgeous stained-glass framed windows, including the front door that became legendary for its use in the series opening credits sequence. Stepping into Halliwell Manor, the first floor was reproduced in jaw-dropping detail, with the entry foyer, living room, staircase, dining room, sitting room, kitchen, and even the beloved conservatory offering an almost 1-to-1 view of the Halliwell sisters’ household. Toddler Wyatt and baby Chris can even be spotted next to a crib and play mat, and a small feline plushie reminiscent of Kat adds an adorable Easter egg for eagle-eyed fans to appreciate.

While the notoriously tricky-to-replicate second floor of the Charmed abode has proven frustrating for fans over the years, largely due to how rarely the full layout is shown throughout the series, Significant-End2869 chose to highlight the sisters’ bedrooms and the ever-magical attic, rather than attempting a complete floor plan like the first level of the witchy home. While each of the rooms mirrors the respective TV counterpoints with patterned wallpaper and personal touches, the true highlight of the design is the inclusion of the iconic Book of Shadows. Charmed fans have shared their appreciation for the gorgeous Sims Halliwell Manor, with many excited about the possibility of it becoming a downloadable build. The Halliwell Manor joins a growing lineup of Sims 4 homes inspired by pop culture and serves as a testament to the popularity of Charmed and the magic it introduced to audiences across the globe.
