Fortnite officially locks down its Chapter 6 finale end date and confirms major crossover at the same time
Fortnite‘s Chapter 6 finale event is officially slated for November 29 at 2pm ET, with a newly released trailer teasing the live event’s content and confirming a long-rumored crossover. Titled ‘Zero Hour,’ Fortnite‘s Chapter 6 finale event will close out its current Simpsons-themed mini-season with a bang, bringing together an ensemble of heroes and icons from the past few seasons to fight the menacing Dark Presence.
While Epic Games hasn’t confirmed any official details for Fortnite Chapter 7, there have been a wealth of leaks over the last few weeks regarding the upcoming chapter’s content. According to the leaks, Fortnite Chapter 7 could feature a Hollywood theme and contain collaborations with Harry Potter, James Bond, and Back to the Future.
Fortnite Chapter 6 Finale Trailer Revealed
But before Fortnite Chapter 7 begins, fans have an ambitious live event to look forward to. Officially announced via a teaser trailer on Fortnite’s official YouTube channel, Fortnite Chapter 6‘s Zero Hour finale event will open its virtual doors at 1:20pm ET on November 29, with the event set to begin 40 minutes later at 2pm ET. If this live event follows in the footsteps of past Fortnite Chapter finales, then fans can expect to join forces against one common enemy by completing a series of themed objectives, eventually resulting in a final cinematic that drastically impacts the current Fortnite status quo.
Fortnite‘s Chapter 6 finale trailer teases that this might be the biggest finale in Fortnite history, at least when it comes to the number of crossovers involved. The trailer opens with Godzilla and King Kong squaring up to The Dark Presence before being joined by a squadron of Star Wars X-Wings and a gigantic donut-wielding Homer Simpson. The feet of the Power Rangers Megazord can also be spotted for a split-second.
Fortnite Confirms Kill Bill Crossover
To top off this Avengers: Endgame-like merging of pop-culture IPs, Fortnite‘s Chapter 6 finale event will also seemingly bring a brand-new crossover to the table. As Godzilla, Kong, and Homer march toward The Dark Presence, Jones is picked up by Kill Bill‘s The Bride (Uma Thurman), and the two speed towards the Fortnite Chapter 6 villain on the back of The Bride’s yellow Kawasaki motorbike.
A Fortnite x Kill Bill crossover was first leaked at the start of this month alongside Harry Potter and SpongeBob SquarePants crossovers. It’s believed The Bride’s appearance in the finale will usher in Fortnite Chapter 7’s rumored Hollywood-themed season.
