Lightbearing Moonshard is Zibai’s signature weapon in Genshin Impact. It’s her best weapon as it increases her Crit DMG, DEF%, and Lunar-Crystallize reactions DMG. This is where most of Zibai’s DPS comes from. So, building Zibai with Lightbearing Moonshard maximizes her DPS compared to other weapons in Genshin Impact.

Harbinger of Dawn is an excellent weapon for any DPS that needs Crit in their build but doesn’t scale with ATK in Genshin Impact. That’s the case with Zibai, where she heavily relies on Crit with her Lunar-Crystallize reactions, but scales with DEF% and Elemental Mastery instead of ATK%. That makes Harbinger of Dawn’s low Base ATK a negligible downside of the weapon. It’s a perfect F2P weapon for Zibai in Genshin Impact.

Uraku Misugiri is a good weapon for Zibai since it gives her the stats she needs, which are Crit DMG and DEF%. Other than that, Zibai doesn’t really get anything. Uraku Misugiri is mostly a stat stick for Zibai.

Uraku Misugiri and other stat sticks that give Zibai Crit value perform slightly better than Harbinger of Dawn, but they’re not worth the investment. The 3-star Sword is more than capable of carrying her DMG until she gets her signature weapon.

If, for some reason, a player doesn’t have Harbinger of Dawn or doesn’t like using it, Flute of Ezpitzal works as an F2P option for Zibai. It grants her a massive amount of DEF% that further increases when she uses her Elemental Skill. It’s not an ideal weapon since it doesn’t increase her Crit value or her Lunar-Crystallize reactions, but the DEF% is still a nice addition.

The Night of the Sky’s Unveiling set increases Zibai’s Elemental Mastery with its 2-pc effect. Elemental Mastery is a helpful stat for Zibai, as it will increase the DMG of all her Lunar-Crystallize reactions. Furthermore, when building Zibai with the Night of the Sky’s Unveiling set, she will get 30% Crit Rate whenever a team member triggers a Lunar reaction in Genshin Impact. This buff is great for Zibai’s DPS since it helps players build her with more Crit DMG.

Additionally, Night of the Sky’s Unveiling increases the entire team’s Lunar reactions by up to 20%, giving the artifact set more reasons to be one of the best artifact sets for Zibai in Genshin Impact.

After using the Elemental Skill Heaven and Earth Made Manifest, Zibai will immediately gain 100 Phase Shift Radiance, and the max number of Spirit Steed’s Stride usages per Lunar Phase Shift mode is increased to 5 times.

Additionally, each time you switch to the Lunar Phase Shift mode, the first Spirit Steed’s Stride’s 2nd-hit Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG is increased by 220%.

When in the Lunar Phase Shift mode, all nearby party members’ Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG is increased by 30%.

Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam: Ascension Talent The Selenic Adeptus Descends is enhanced: the 2nd hit of Spirit Steed’s Stride deals additional DMG equal to 550% of Zibai’s DEF. You must first unlock the Ascension Talent “The Selenic Adeptus Descends.”

While in the Lunar Phase Shift mode, Zibai’s Normal Attack sequence will not reset, and when Spirit Steed’s Stride hits opponents, Zibai will gain the “Scattermoon Splendor” effect: The next time she uses Normal Attacks, her 4th hit will deal 250% of the original Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG.

While Zibai is in the Lunar Phase Shift mode, her Phase Shift Radiance gain rate is increased by 50%.

Additionally, Spirit Steed’s Stride will change such that it will consume all Phase Shift Radiance. This will elevate the DMG dealt by this instance of Spirit Steed’s Stride and the Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG dealt by Zibai within the next 3s by 1.6% for every point consumed above 70. This effect cannot stack.
