Heartopia: Complete Cat Caring Hobby Guide

Cat Caring is a wholesome hobby in Heartopia, where you can take care of a feline friend and raise your bond with it. Here’s how it works!

How to Unlock the Dog Caring Hobby in Heartopia & Adopt a Dog

How to Unlock Dog Caring in Heartopia

To unlock the Dog Caring hobby, you must first reach D.G. Level 12. The fastest way to do that is by completing the five Resident Requests you get each day. If you stay consistent, you should hit Level 12 in about a week or two. Once you’re Developer Guild Level 12, you’ll need to visit Mrs. Joan, the pet care mentor, who can be found at the Adoption Center.

The Dog Caring hobby first requires players to purchase the Cat Caring hobby. We’ve listed a useful guide above to get you through the Cat Caring hobby, so that once it’s complete, you can return to Mrs. Joan to exchange a Hobby Expansion Ticket for the Dog Caring hobby, which will unlock dogs for adoption.

There are 3 dogs available for adoption each day, but if you’re not happy with the breeds available, you can return the next day for a new selection.

How to Increase Bond With a Dog in Heartopia

Feeding your dog is a fast way to increase your bond. Dogs get hungry pretty fast when they run around and play, so you’ll need to feed them several times a day. Walk up to your dog and tap the bowl icon to feed it. You can buy Dog Food from Mrs. Joan’s shop, but dogs will also eat certain mushrooms and even some cooked meals if you’re running low on feed.

You can also increase your dog’s bond through Training. Tap the paw icon and choose Train to start. Your dog will perform an action, and you will have to react correctly. For additional bonding, clean your dog, take it for walks, and interact with it.
