How to Unlock the Cat Caring Hobby & Adopt a Cat in Heartopia
To unlock Cat Caring, you need to reach D.G. level 12. At this level, talk to Mrs. Joan. She will introduce you to the Cat Caring hobby and ask you to confirm it using a Hobby Expansion Ticket.
After unlocking the hobby, you can adopt your first cat. The game gives you a few different options to choose from. When you select a cat, you can see its breed, gender, and personality traits before making your choice.

How to Increase Your Bond With a Cat in Heartopia
When it comes to daily care, feeding your cat is the priority. If your cat is hungry, you won’t be able to play with it or interact much at all. You can buy cat food from Mrs. Joan, and in our experience, cats can also be fed fish.
Besides feeding, there are a few other ways to spend time with your cat. You can pet it, play with it, clean it when it gets dirty, or take it outside. Doing these things raises your bond level, and sometimes your cat might even bring you small gifts. Early on, petting is the only interaction available. Keep doing it, and more activities will unlock over time.
As you spend more time with your cat, it will grow and unlock new poses. You can check all of these by opening your smart watch and heading to the Pets tab. This page shows your cat’s full profile, including its hunger, energy, traits, and mood history. You can also rename your cat from here if you want.
As you earn more Cat Caring proficiency points, you will unlock extra perks for the hobby. These include new accessories, the ability to adopt more cats, and even an auto feeder for your cats.
