One of the new quests in the Arc Raiders Headwinds update is the A Prime Specimen quest. Shani is the trader that players can grab this quest from, and it requires raiders to find an ARC Deforester. A Prime Specimen Quest (Arc Deforester Location) in Arc Raiders
After accepting the quest from Shani, load into a match on Blue Gate with a proper loadout. You can opt for a free loadout, but since you will need to take down a few ARCs, it is best to have good weapons and heals on you rather than a random common weapon. As many other raiders will also try to complete this quest, you might face some hostile players, so always be cautious. After the match starts, make your way to Adorned Wreckage, which is to the west of the map.
You do not need to do this under any specific map conditions; while those increase the rarity of the loot you find, they also introduce more ARCs or weather changes that can be more dangerous to deal with.
Once you reach the Adorned Wreckage, look around for any flying ARC enemies, such as the Wasp or Hornet. Once you destroy them, loot them to find two ARC Power Cells. You will need these to complete the puzzle on the Deforester up ahead.
The Deforester is the large ARC structure you can spot from a distance. It has an electrical panel where you can insert one ARC Power Cell to start the mechanism.
Once the puzzle starts, fires will spew out, and you must wait for the moment the fire stops to run in and interact with the button on the other side. You will have to insert another ARC Power Cell here. After this, go back to the first button; you can then climb the left wall to reach the top platform. At the end of this platform is another interactable container. Interact with it, and you will complete the quest.
You can then return to Shani to get the following rewards:
