WWE 2K26 Leak Reveals 3 Factions for The Island Mode
WWE 2K26 leaks have revealed three possible factions for The Island game mode, as well as some supposed art that will accompany the game. There is still a lot of information left to be officially revealed about WWE 2K26, but if the recent leaks are true, they lend extra relevance to rumors of a Showcase starring CM Punk and the return of The Island of Relevancy.
Developer Visual Concepts and publisher 2K are still keeping a lot of information confidential for now about the upcoming annual installment in the pro wrestling series, but that hasn’t stopped the rumor mill from churning out information over the past several months. One such recent leak claims that WWE 2K26‘s launch date will be on March 13, just over a month ahead of WrestleMania 42, which is about the timeframe in which games in the series tend to release. That same leak also states that the game will only be coming out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, leaving out last-gen consoles that supported limited features of WWE 2K25.

WWE 2K25’s Island Mode Factions Revealed by New Leak
- Order of Anarchy
- Order of Shadows
- Order of Tradition
Now, more information has surfaced about The Island, a game mode that was first introduced last year featuring WWE 2K25 cover star Roman Reigns and was built around players’ created wrestlers participating in a number of original matches and storylines to try to dethrone the Tribal Chief from his role. Insider Gaming executive editor Mike Straw has revealed via his official Twitter account that he has received information stating the next visit to The Island will center around three fictitious WWE Factions: Order of Anarchy, Order of Shadows, and Order of Tradition. He hasn’t provided much more information than the names of the factions, but as Reigns is likely no longer The Island’s head honcho, the faction-based system may indicate that players can choose to align themselves with different groups of WWE Superstars and other players in a battle for supremacy over The Island.
Rumors from about a week ago had claimed that The Island would be coming back in WWE 2K26 with big changes, including a brand-new story. That set of rumors only revealed the name Order of Anarchy, though it did also mention the fall of Roman Reigns and a struggle between factions in the power vacuum left by his defeat. Also, according to that set of rumors, the transition between the next The Island mode will be seamless and contiguous with the last game, with no time passing between the events of the game mode between WWE 2K25 and WWE 2K26.
CM Punk Showcase Rumors Strengthened by New WWE 2K26 Leak
Another rumor from an entirely different source lends credence to reports of a CM Punk Showcase in WWE 2K26. Twitter account WWE2K26GOATLEAKER has shared an image reportedly found on publisher 2K’s support page, showing a banner image of Punk with the game’s logo. Having won the then-vacant World Heavyweight Championship from Jey Uso in a tournament finals match in early November, Punk is not only one of the company’s most recognizable stars, but he also holds one of its top belts. Rumors that surfaced in mid-January have stated that the series’ annual Showcase mode would include several highlights of Punk’s career, and a banner image featuring him alone could be a more certain sign that such a Showcase will be happening.
For now, fans will have to wait for 2K and Visual Concepts to confirm these and a number of other WWE 2K26 leaks and rumors. Additional information that has been leaked about the upcoming game includes the addition of the I Quit Match, 3 Stages of Hell Match, Dumpster Match, and Inferno Match, along with the first-time roster additions of Zaria, Ricky Saints, Myles Borne, and Blake Monroe.
