PS Plus Essential Game for February 2026 Leaks Online

By newsgame

One PlayStation Plus February 2026 free monthly game has just been leaked, and it may be 2024’s Undisputed. At the time of writing, no other February 2026 PlayStation Plus Essential games have leaked, but it’s believed that Undisputed will be the month’s headliner.

PlayStation Plus has had a somewhat rough start to the year. Though PS Plus Extra and Premium got a few solid additions this month, the PS Plus free monthly games for January 2026 were met with widespread disappointment from subscribers, especially when compared to the previous month’s line-up. PS Plus’ December 2025 roster featured five games, including heavy hitters like LEGO Horizon Adventures, Killing Floor 3, The Outlast Trials, and Neon White. January’s line-up offered Need for Speed Unbound, Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, and Core Keeper, three solid titles, but ones that pale in comparison to the five that preceded them.

Undisputed Could Be PlayStation Plus Essential’s February 2026 Headliner

Unfortunately, at least for some, it doesn’t look as though PlayStation Plus Essential’s February 2026 line-up is going to be much better. On January 25, well-known leaker Billbil-Kun (writing for Dealabs Magazine) reported that Undisputed would be one of the free PS Plus games in February. Billbil-Kun’s report doesn’t name any specific sources, instead stating that the claim simply comes from “our information.” As should always be the case with any leak or rumor, gamers should take this latest PS Plus leak with a hefty pinch of salt.

Originally released in October 2024 and developed by Steel City Interactive, Undisputed is a boxing game that features licensed fighters from across three real-world organizations: the World Boxing Council, the World Boxing Organization, and the International Boxing Federation. These fighters include Tyson Fury, Oleksandr Usyk, Terence Crawford, and Canelo Álvarez among many others. Real-world trainers and managers also appear in the game.

Since its launch in 2024, Undisputed has earned a rather mixed reception from critics. While Undisputed currently sits at a 73 Top Critic Average on OpenCritic, just 37% of critics recommend the game, according to the site. Reviewers generally praised Undisputed‘s realism and its ambitious RPG-like pre-match systems, but many took issue with the boxing game’s commentators, its technical performance, and an overall lack of polish. Many reviews highlighted that Undisputed did not quite live up to the lofty heights of the Fight Night franchise.

Despite the mixed reception, support for Undisputed has been surprisingly consistent. Along with general updates and patches, Undisputed has released a total of seven paid DLCs, most of which added a new handful of licensed, real-world boxers to the game. Undisputed‘s most recent DLC, ‘The Senator Pack,’ released in October 2025, adding fighters like Manny Pacquiao, Vinny Paz, and Sergey Kovalev. A free update that launched on the same day also added new venues, new NPCs, an online character creator, and crossplay to Undisputed.

There’s currently no word from Billbil-Kun or anyone else on what the other February 2026 PS Plus Essential games might be. It shouldn’t be long before fans find out, however, as PlayStation is set to officially announce the PS Plus February line-up on Wednesday, January 28. Once announced, these PS Plus free games will be available from February 3 to March 3.

While Undisputed might be someone’s cup of tea, it’s arguably a bit too niche to be a worthy PlayStation Plus Essential headliner. Given the slightly disappointing start to 2026, subscribers had hoped that PS Plus would turn things around in February, especially as the service is losing another nine games next month. The nine games leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium next month are:

  • Carto
  • Cult of the Lamb
  • New World: Aeternum
  • Rez Infinite
  • SaGa Frontier Remastered
  • Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition
  • Super Neptunia RPG
  • The Ascent
  • WWE 2K25
