How to Play Battlefield 6 for Free
As reported by VGT Gaming News, Battlefield 6 is offering a free multiplayer trial on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S that will be available from November 25 to December 1. The limited trial will include 3 maps and 5 modes, giving interested players a taste of what to expect from the game. A new update for Battlefield 6 launched on November 18, but it remains unknown at this time if any changes made with that patch will be included in the free trial or if the trial version will be different in any way from the full version of the game. Fans have debated the differences between the standard Battlefield 6 multiplayer and the REDSEC battle royale mode, with many preferring the base game multiplayer. As such, it should come as no surprise that the base version is what will be on offer with the multiplayer trial.
The rumored upcoming Battlefield 6 game modes largely prioritize multiplayer, and this free trial may be a good way to get more feedback ahead of launching any massive updates to the game. While Battlefield 6‘s live service model has faced criticism, it would seem the plans for long-term support of the game are already paying off, with a number of players showing early interest in the upcoming limited trial and potential new multiplayer modes.
While Battlefield 6 has faced stiff competition from CoD and the hit extraction shooter ARC Raiders, recent updates to Battlefield 6 have kept the existing player base invested for the time being. Whether the free multiplayer trial will boost long-term player counts remains to be seen, but many are hopeful that the offering is a sign that Battlefield 6 will continue to keep fans happy by making improvements that entice both current and future players.
