PC Gamers Have 4 Free Games That You Can Claim Right Now Completely Free of Charge
Steam has always been a treasure trove of free games, but now more than ever, it seems the storefront is dedicated to providing free games to PC players. Recent weeks and months have seen free Steam games like Everyday Devil, Initial Drift Online, Dreadmyst, and more, while the Epic Games Store also continues to give out free games weekly. This week is particularly good for PC players, as there are a total of four free games they can currently claim until January 22.
Namely, Steam users can claim both Crown of Champions: Legends of the Arena and Battle Simulator: Counter Stickman. The competition is giving away a pair of games, Styx: Master of Shadows and Styx: Shards of Darkness. It’s a great way to get into the franchise, for free, before the release of Styx: Blades of Greed in February. Of course, the EGS free games rotate out on January 22 and will be replaced with yet another free game this week—Rustler: Grand Theft Horse.
Steam Users Have 2 Free Games They Can Claim for Free Until January 22
Steam’s two free games for this week include two completely different games, hopefully meaning at least one appeals to you. Battle Simulator: Counter Stickman is simple, yet effective, where players must simulate a battle between two sets of stick figures. There’s cover and tactics to consider, but it’s worth keeping in mind that it’s a short and simple game on Steam. It only takes about an hour to beat, meaning players can then also check out Crown Champion: Legends of the Arena.
Instead of stick figures and guns, Crown Champion: Legends of the Arena gives players a fantasy RPG management sim. It has more classic vibes, even at first glance, and deeper gameplay systems than Counter Stickman. In it, players must build an estate into an effective school of combat, developing a reputation as they progress through 12 different arenas. Review-wise, it’s worth mentioning that Counter Stickman currently has Mixed reviews on Steam, but Crown Champion has Very Positive reviews.
Epic Games Store Users Have Until January 22 to Claim 2 Free Games

It is a stealth RPG, where players are an old goblin, and each game promises hardcore stealth, fun exploration, and organic player path-finding. Epic Games Store Users Will Get At Least 1 More Free Game on January 22
- Rustler: Grand Theft Horse (January 22-January 29)
When the two Styx games rotate out of EGS’s weekly giveaway, they will be replaced by Rustler: Grand Theft Horse. It’s also possible that EGS has a surprise waiting in the wings, but Rustler is a pretty intriguing game on its own. Featuring a top-down perspective, Rustler: Grand Theft Horse is a lot like if Grand Theft Auto took place in a Dungeons and Dragons campaign. Players can become murder hobos who complete wacky quests, kill would-be heroes, and otherwise commit a plethora of crimes, all set to fitting Bard music.
