Best Items to Sell for Profit in Animal Crossing New Horizons

Players can get some easy money in Animal Crossing: New Horizons by selling these items.

There are over 70 fossils for players to find in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but only a few will appear per day, so it can take a while for players to complete the museum’s fossil exhibition on their island. This guide provides players with information on the fossils they will find in New Horizons, including how much they’re worth.

How to Complete the Fossil Collection in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Each day that players log into Animal Crossing: New Horizons, four fossils will spawn under the ground. Once players have access to a shovel, they will be able to look for these hidden treasures, allowing them to start their journey of helping Blathers complete the fossils exhibition at the museum.

If players aren’t able to locate all fossils that spawn on a given day, they don’t have to worry too much, as up to six fossils can be buried on the island at the same time. So, as long as players find two of the fossils, they can still look for the other two the following day, alongside the four new fossils that will spawn.

In total, there are 73 different fossils that players must dig up, assess, and donate to the museum. If they never got a repeat fossil, it would take them 19 days to complete the fossil collection. However, that is nearly impossible, as players are almost guaranteed to find a few repeat fossils when they attempt to do it.

Gamers who want to speed up the process of getting all fossils can also purchase Nook Miles Tickets and visit mystery islands, as there is a small chance that a fossil will be buried on an island.
