Acquiring more powerful weapons is a key part of progression in Hytale, because as players venture into new biomes and more dangerous zones, they will face stronger and stronger foes. The key to survival is readiness, and upgrading weapons is a crucial step.

Like Minecraft, weapons in Hytale cannot be directly upgraded. The only way to get a better weapon is to craft one anew. Additionally, unlike the crude weapons that can be crafted straight from your inventory, higher-tier weapons can only be made at a dedicated crafting station. How to Make a Blacksmith Anvil

In Hytale, higher-tier weapons can be crafted at a Blacksmith’s Anvil, a crafting station that can be found in the Workbench under the Crafting Tab. You only need a Tier 1 Workbench to make this block.

After a Blacksmith’s Anvil has been created, place it in the overworld and interact with it to view weapon recipes.

All Weapons in Hytale & How to Craft Them

There are five weapon types in Hytale: Swords, Maces, Battleaxes, Daggers, and Bows, all of which can be crafted at a Blacksmith’s Anvil.

Each weapon type offers six tiers, going from Iron, Copper, Thorium, Cobalt, Adamantite, and Mithril. The weapons become progressively stronger as players progress in tiers, allowing them to tackle higher-level threats.
