How to Get Charcoal in Hytale
Charcoal is a universal fuel source in Hytale and a crafting material required for certain recipes in the game. Here is how to get it.
How To Upgrade Workbenches in Hytale
Interacting with a Workbench or any other Crafting Station (Furnace, Armorer’s Workbench, Tanning Rack, Blacksmith’s Anvil, etc.) will reveal the Tier of the structure, which starts at Tier 1 and can be upgraded up to Tier 3. Except for the Furniture Bench, the Builder’s Workbench, and the Chef’s Stove which are capped at Tier 1 and do not require uprades.
Upgrading each Workbench has certain requirements, which are usually linked to the crafting mats used in said crafting station. For example, to upgrade the Blacksmith’s Anvil to Tier 2, players need 20x Iron Ingots, 30x Light Leather, 30x Linen Scraps, and 15x Venom Sacs.
Players should first craft a Furnace and smelt Copper Ore, then immediately jump to Iron Tier by using a Copper Pickaxe to mine it. Iron and copper often is found near Iron, so players can kill two birds with one stone and jump a Tier if they explore the depths of caves, ruins, and crypts.
How to Get Cindercloth Scraps in Hytale
This guide will help players find Cindercloth Scraps, a material in Hytale that plays an important role in the crafting of weapons and armor.
Ideally, players would want to upgrade the Workbench first, since it grants access to the Backpack Upgrade, and also unlocks higher Tier Tools (Pickaxe, Hatchet, Shovel, etc.). Players should prioritize the Workbench, then the Blacksmith’s Anvil, and the Armorer’s Workbench.
The Alchemist’s Workbench and Arcanist’s Workbench are also cirtical for long-term survival in Hytale, so mind those as well. The Farmer’s Workbench is not mandatory to have, but if players want to unlock 100% of the crafting System in the game, they should give it some attention as well.
Each upgraded Tier unlocks new crafting Recipes, so it’s super important to upgrade all of the Workbenches, so that players can craft new armor, weapons, and tools to enhance their Hytale experience. Consequently, each of the upgrades will be even more expensive than the latter, and will often use higher tier resources that players need to gather in high level biomes.
