Locate the Dead Drop inside the Courtyard (Digging Up Dirt) in Arc Raiders

Digging Up Dirt is one of Celeste‘s quests in Arc Raiders, and one that players can get towards the latter half of the game. The main objective of this quest is to find the dead drop, which is the difficult part. This part of the quest is not marked on the map, and even if a player finds the building where the dead drop is, finding a way inside is also a challenge. This guide offers a walkthrough for the quest in Arc Raiders.

Digging Up Dirt Quest in Arc Raiders

For this quest, players must load up the Buried City map. Ideally, you should do this in normal mode, but if you are planning on gathering a lot of resources and other loot as well as completing the quest, then you can opt for a Night Raid if it is active.

Do remember to limit your flashlight usage, because enemy raiders can easily spot you and will knock you out.

Once you spawn in the map, head on over to the Santa Maria Houses, which is the first objective of this quest. Upon arriving there, your objective will now be to find the dead drop inside the courtyard.

This is the hard part because the house itself is slightly above the gap between “Maria” and “Houses” on the map. The house has no way to enter from the ground level because all of the doors will be closed from the other side. If you arrive here late, there is a chance someone might have opened them from the inside, but if you are here first, then you will have to take the alternate path.

Head inside the adjacent house and go up the stairs all the way to the top floor. Here, you will find a Zipline that takes you to the roof of the building, and you open the rooftop door to climb onto the roof. Make your way from the roof of this building to the building where your objective is, and you will see an open rooftop door you can drop into. Continue forward, and you will spot the dead drop in the middle of the courtyard that is filled with sand. Interact with it to complete the objective, and you can extract right after.
