Evolution Shards Tier List (2025)

Every Clash Royale deck has eight cards, and usually, you can only add two Evolution cards. The rest are regular ones. But in some special events, like Evolutions Mayhem, you can mess around with up to four or even eight evo cards just for fun. How to Get Evolution Shards in Clash Royale

To evolve a card in Clash Royale, you’ll need six Evolution Shards or Wild Shards. These worked great when the Season Shop was around, especially for free-to-play players, but now that it’s gone, getting shards takes more work.

Right now, Evolution and Wild Shards come from the Game Shop, the Free Pass, the Pass Royale, and the King’s Journey. Once six Evo Shards are collected, their respective cards can be awakened. That said, unlike them, if you’ve plenty of wild shards, it means you can use them to evolve any card you like, so it’s best to spend them on the strongest options.

• Evolved Valkyrie: The base Valkyrie is already tough to handle, but her evolved version is absolutely wild. She can take down the tankiest ground troops, and with her tornado damage, all you need are strong air units to back her up. With a solid strategy, you can watch her slash through the opponent’s army and tear down their towers with ease.
• Evolved Royal Ghost: Not only is it a low-cost card, requiring just 3 Elixir to summon, it’s also highly effective. The evolved Royal Ghost brings two soldiers into the fight, which deal spawn damage before charging at enemies at their own pace.
• Evolved Witch: Already a nightmare for both air and ground troops thanks to her magic staff and skeleton army, she gets even deadlier once awakened. She spawns higher-level minions that heal faster, and as the powerful Witch, she boasts more HP and dishes out devastating AOE damage.
