How to Get Ceramics in StarRupture

By newsgame

The further you get into leveling up each corporation in StarRupture, the more complicated the requests will be that you need to complete to reach the next level. One of the materials you’ll need to make to meet one of the Future Health Solutions requests, and is needed to make other materials, is Ceramics. The problem is, you’ll need to first unlock the recipe for Ceramics, and then the process of creating it involves a number of different resources and machines. Fortunately, you’re in the right place, as this guide will explain everything you need to know to get Ceramics in StarRupture.

How to Get Rotor Blueprint in StarRupture

You’ll eventually need to create rotors to keep the corporations happy in StarRupture, but you’ll need the blueprint for the recipe.

How to Get Ceramics in StarRupture

Ceramics are made by combining Calcite Sheets and Wolfram Powder in a Furnace. However, if you try and select Ceramics from a Furnace, you’ll find that the recipe is locked. You’ll need to unlock it via the Recipe Station first.

Unlocking the Ceramics Recipe

The Ceramics recipe requires you to insert the following into the Recipe Station:

Wolfram Powder is fairly easy to create once you’ve built a furnace as it just requires Wolfram Bars (made from Wolfram Ore in a Smelter) to create.

Calcite Sheets can be made by putting Calcium Ore into a Smelter to make Calcium Blocks, and then putting the Calcium Blocks into a Fabricator.

Finally, Data Points can very easily be obtained by putting any old tech items, flora, fauna, or vermin parts in the Analyzer in your Habitat.

Once you’ve got the Ceramics recipe, you’re ready to start building your production line of machines and start mass-harvesting it.

As noted above, Ceramics are made by combining Wolfram Powder and Calcite Sheets in a Furnace. To do this, you’ll need to create two separate production lines going into the Furnace.

Combining two resources in one machine requires you to make use of the multiple rails on the ‘input’ side of the machine. I’ve included a screenshot of the rails leading into a Furnace as an example below.

multiple rails into furncae

The first production line should start with an Extractor on Wolfram Ore. This should then go into a Smelter to create Wolfram Bars, which should then lead into a Furnace to make Wolfram Powder. This Wolfram Powder then needs to be sent to a second Furnace where it will be combined with Calcite Sheets to make Ceramics.

The second line starts with an Extractor on Calcium Ore. This should go into a Smelter to make Calcium Blocks, which should lead into a Fabricator to create Calcite Sheets. These Calcite Sheets should then lead into the ‘second Furnace’ we mentioned above, where it’s combined with Wolfram Powder to make Ceramics.
