The Straight Record quest in ARC Raiders tasks players to locate and disable an old EMP trap that’s disrupting raider communications. To do that, players will need to head over to the Victory Ridge, which is hard to find if you haven’t been to the area before. Here’s a complete guide to help you reach Victory Ridge and disable the old EMP Trap to complete the Straight Record quest.

ARC Raiders Straight Record Victory Ridge Location

To start the Straight Record quest, players will first need to visit the Victory Ridge in ARC Raiders, which is located between the West Broken Bridge and Ruby Residence on the Dam Battlegrounds map.

The Victory Ridge isn’t shown on the map if you are on zoom level one. You’ll need to zoom in one level more to view the exact location (or simply follow the pin on the map above).

After you arrive at Victory Ridge, follow the debris on the ground to find an electric pole with a yellow glow. This is the Old EMP Trap, and you’ll need to interact with it to disable it.

Activating the First Switch

After interacting with the Old EMP Trap in the Straight Record quest, it will start a small puzzle where you’ll need to activate three power switches in a particular order. These are small yellow electrical boxes that will be required to disable the Old Emp Trap and complete the quest.

The first Power Switch can be found on a nearby hill near the EMP pole. You’ll need to go towards it and interact with it to turn it off.

Activating the Second Power Switch

For the second Power Switch, you’ll need to head down the hill and go near the broken-down house structure. Climb over the generator outside the destroyed house to reach the second floor. The second Power Switch is hidden inside a room, in the back.

Activating the Third Power Switch

Return to the EMP pole and head down the road towards the southern side. You’ll spot a pole with an electric cable fallen on the road. Simply follow the electric cable, and you’ll come across the third and final Power Switch box.

If you didn’t activate all boxes in order, the puzzle will fail, and you’ll need to re-activate the old EMP trap to start the puzzle again.

Once you’ve turned off all Power Switches, interact with the Old EMP Trap to disable it, and complete the Straight Record quest in ARC Raiders. Safely extract to Speranza and claim 5x Medium Gun Parts and 3x Advanced Mechanical Components from Celeste as a completion reward.
