ARC Raiders Reveals Week 10 Trials

By newsgame

Embark Studios has revealed a new set of Trials Challenges for Week 10 of ARC Raiders, giving players fresh objectives to complete if they wish to chase after some extra rewards. In order to have a chance at earning these rewards, gamers will see themselves facing off against a variety of ARC Raiders‘ enemies, including Rocketeers, Shredders, Fireballs, and more. While most of the Trials are fairly straightforward, Embark Studios has prepared something special for gamers looking to play in the snow when they go Topside.

While the best way to acquire valuable loot in ARC Raiders is to go Topside and start scavenging, weekly Trials give players another way to earn high-value rewards. Embark Studios releases a new set of five challenges every Monday, giving players one full week to stack up as much progress as possible. Earning a single star in a challenge will reward players with an Uncommon item, while earning two stars will grant them a Rare item. Many players strive to reach three stars, as doing so rewards gamers with an Epic item. Those looking to go above and beyond can earn even more rewards by achieving a higher ranking throughout the course of the season. The higher a player climbs, the better the rewards will be. While some gamers have criticized the Trials system for being overly repetitive, other fans have said that they enjoy having an extra set of objectives to chase each week.

How to Complete ARC Raiders Week 10 Trials

  • Throw snowballs at Rocketeers
  • Deal damage to Shredders
  • Deal damage to flying ARC enemies
  • Open ARC Probes
  • Destroy Fireballs

This week’s Trials have thrown gamers a little bit of a curveball, as players aren’t being asked to simply destroy Rocketeers in ARC Raiders, but instead throw snowballs at them. It’s worth noting that snowballs don’t deal damage, which is why fans may have seen snowball fights break out in a match without any players suffering casualties. In order to collect a snowball in the first place, gamers will need to load onto a map that has the Cold Snap condition active. Once Topside, players can look on the snow-covered ground to collect snowballs and add them to their quick slot. After that, snowballs work like any other throwable item or weapon, allowing players to take aim before letting loose.

Fortunately, Embark Studios isn’t asking players to throw snowballs at Rocketeers and then run away, as one of the other Trials is to deal damage to flying ARC enemies. That’s a nice bit of synergy, which will reward players for following up their snowball with a well-aimed attack. While snowballs may be limited to maps with ARC Raiders‘ Cold Snap condition, flying ARC enemies can be found just about anywhere, allowing players to progress in this Trial wherever they go. Gamers will also be rewarded for dealing as much damage as possible to Shredders, which tend to be quite plentiful on ARC Raiders‘ Stella Montis map. Fans may want to be careful when going up against Shredders, as they have proven to be vicious foes on the battlefield.

Gamers looking to complete the Week 10 Trials will also want to seek out Fireballs and destroy them. Dealing damage won’t be enough for this challenge, so fans will want to make sure they finish the job. While some players choose to avoid Probes in ARC Raiders, as they can be quite noisy and take a while to breach, the Week 10 Trials will see gamers opening as many as they can get their hands on. With so much content to enjoy and even more on the way, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of ARC Raiders.
