Best Weapons To Use in Dam Battlegrounds (ARC Raiders)
As the first topside map raiders get to scavenge, Dam Battlegrounds is one of the most popular maps in ARC Raiders. It’s a map that has most of what the game can offer to set the mood of what players can expect from ARC Raiders.
ARC Raiders: How to Get Advanced ARC Power Cells
Advanced ARC Powercells are an important resource in ARC Raiders, used to craft Energy Clips & Advanced Shield Rechargers, here’s how to farm them.
As a map that has a balanced combination of open areas and buildings, it’s important to bring weapons that can handle both situations. Not to mention, ARC enemies are vicious and force players to adjust to their aggressiveness. Because of that, a balance between PVP and PVE is important when raiding Dam Battlegrounds in ARC Raiders. This list will rank the best weapons to use when scavenging Dam Battlegrounds in ARC Raiders.
Il Toro
Weapons like Stitcher, Il Toro, and Vulcano can delete other players with a few shots if they dare to come close within their range. Il Toro punishes raiders for getting too close and forces their users to push and close the distance to their opponents.
The Dam Battlegrounds map is filled with buildings that increase the value of Il Toro. Additionally, most of its open areas are filled with trees, rocks, and hills that ease the maneuver when using the Pump-action shotgun.
Vulcano
Most players like to gather and fight inside the Research and Administration building when they load into the Dam Battlegrounds map in ARC Raiders. If a player is heading to that building or to the Control Tower next to it, it’s important to bring a close-range monster like Vulcano. It’s an epic rarity shotgun that can clean those buildings and the corners of their campers.
Vulcano is a weapon that rewards the player for upgrading it, as it gets a better fire rate and reload speed with each upgrade. That greatly increases its value and further showcases how dangerous Vulcano is in close-range combat.
Kettle
As a common Assault Rifle, Kettle is cheap and can work in a budget loadout in ARC Raiders. It’s a decent weapon for long-distance combat, but deadly at close range.
It’s important to note that Kettle is not for everybody, but it’s definitely for those who know how to click. The weapon’s fire rate is related to how quickly a player can click the shoot button, without any limits. This is the dangerous part. Without any limits, it means a skilled player can empty the entire Kettle mag, as another player is limited to their weapon’s fire rate limitations.
Hullcracker
The Dam Battlegrounds map is home to almost all the ARC enemies in ARC Raiders. That makes it a perfect destination whenever players are trying to hunt a certain ARC enemy, like an ARC Leaper, ARC Rocketeer, or even a Queen. Because of that, bringing Hullcracker to Dam Battlefields makes the job easy, as it can deal significant damage to any ARC enemy in the game.

Here are the items you can safely get rid of in ARC Raiders.
Keep in mind, Hullcracker is a PVE-only weapon, so it’s better to bring another PVP weapon to deal with aggressive raiders.
Ferro
There’s nothing more satisfying than flicking someone’s head with a Ferro. It’s a long-range Battle Rifle that hits so hard, it makes enemies start dancing around looking for cover after the first shot. Usually, it’s enough to land a few shots with another weapon after hitting an enemy with a Ferro to take them down. It’s also an amazing weapon to punish enemies who are protecting areas, as one hit is enough to make them spend a long time healing back their lost shield and HP.
Although it’s a strong rifle, Ferro still has some drawbacks, such as only one bullet in the chamber and a long reload time. Luckily, leveling up the common Battle Rifle solves the reload issue, as it becomes reliable with its fast reload time.
Stitcher
Stitcher is one of the cheapest weapons on this list. It’s a common rarity weapon that barely costs a couple of Metal and Rubber Parts to craft. Yet, it’s a brutal weapon in close-range combat. Although Bobcat is slightly better than Stitcher, it’s still an expensive SMG that needs a lot of investment. Not to mention, it needs Extended Light Mag to compete with Stitcher. On the other hand, all players have to do is barely spend anything on a level 3 or 4 Stitcher, and they’re ready to go.
Keep in mind, at the end of the day, Stitcher is a close-range SMG, and Dam Battlegrounds has a lot of open field combat. So, it’s better to know how to navigate with an SMG or start a raid with another long-range weapon, like Renegade.
Renegade
Renegade is a strong Battle Rifle that allows its holder to camp in corners. Not only that, but players can snipe enemy players at long distances, punishing them for crossing into open fields. Since the Dam Battlegrounds map has a lot of buildings with roof access, it’s easy to use Renegade to close down areas and punish any player passing by.
At level 4, Renegade becomes a reliable Battle Rifle that can quickly take down enemies with a few shots, while its magazine capacity can reach up to 20 bullets. That alone makes Renegade a weapon that can fight multiple enemies while rarely requiring reloads.
Anvil
Anvil is a heavy hitter that can catch enemy players by surprise. At level 4, it becomes incredibly hard for enemies to react once an Anvil user gets the first hit, especially if it’s a headshot.

On the Dam Battlegrounds map, Anvil can handle both enemy players and ARCs effectively, with no real drawbacks. In almost every combat situation, Anvil showcases why it’s a top-tier weapon in ARC Raiders.
Tempest
Tempest is easily one of the best weapons in ARC Raiders. It’s an insane Assault Rifle that can take on enemies at any range. With an epic rarity, it’s costly to invest in a level 4 Tempest, which means players will rarely find themselves against another fellow rocking a Tempest. That alone puts a Tempest user at an advantage against most players on the map.
The best part of using a Tempest on Dam Battlegrounds is the ability to start a raid with only the Assault Rifle, as it’s capable of taking enemies in any situation. It’s also a decent weapon without leveling it up to level 4, unlike a lot of the weapons on this list.
Venator
Even after the nerf, Venator remains a deadly pistol capable of taking down an entire squad in ARC Raiders. At level 4, a skilled player can have a decent chance of wiping out the entire map with it. What makes Venator truly powerful is its ability to reach enemies and melt them at any range.
The Dam Battlegrounds map offers multiple layers of combat, with players constantly shifting between open spaces and tight, close-range corners. This is where Venator shines, as players will constantly find themselves at an advantage against enemies who constantly need to switch weapons to adjust to the combat situation.
