Where to Find Every Poogie in Azuria in Monster Hunter Stories 3
There are 22 lost Poogies roaming around Azuria in Monster Hunter Stories 3. They have scattered randomly throughout the region, so finding all of them requires players to search every inch of Azuria.
Between completing the game’s story, hatching new Monsties, and completing side quests, it can be difficult to find time to search for every last Poogie. Additionally, unless you find them all in one go, it’s easy to forget where you’ve searched and where you haven’t. To help you out, we’ll show you the locations of every single Poogie in Azuria so you can rescue them all while playing Monster Hunter Stories 3.

Azuria Poogie Map in Monster Hunter Stories 3
Nearly all of Azuria’s Poogies can easily be found while playing through the first chapter of Monster Hunter Stories 3. There are only two exceptions to this. The first is the Poogie hidden in the cave behind a tough monster, while the second is the Poogie that requires a Monstie that can Ground Dive.
While completing Thea’s Chapter 1 side quest will give players a new Poogie for their Poogie count, it will not count towards finding all the Poogies in Azuria. However, completing this side quest will give players the Poogie Hunter reward, which lets players know when they are near a Poogie.
Where to Find Every Poogie in Azuria in Monster Hunter Stories 3
Poogie on the Small Island in Azuria’s Lake
The first Poogie is found on a small piece of land floating on the lake. Since the water surrounding the front of this island is shallow, you won’t need a swimming Monstie to reach it. Instead, you can walk to or jump directly onto the island to find the Poogie at the other side of it.
Poogie Beneath a Tree in the Broadleaf Basin
This Poogie can be found peacefully sleeping beneath a tree in the Broadleaf Basin. The easiest way to find this tree is to walk straight towards the cliffs from the small island by the shore where the previous Poogie was found.
Azuria Cliffside Poogie
This Poogie is roaming around on the top of a cliff in the southern part of Azuria. To reach it, you’ll want to ride your Monstie around to the back of the cliffs. There will be a grassy path on the back of the hill that can be climbed to easily reach the Poogie.
Poogie Hidden On the Broadleaf Basin Tower
This is one of the more difficult Poogies to find because you will not see it before interacting with it. To start, you’ll want to enter the southern part of the map, specifically the tan area. When you enter this area, you’ll see four stone towers spread around a clearing.
After entering the clearing, you’ll see an updraft on the left. You’ll want to use this to fly to the top of the first tower on the right.
Landing on the tower will reveal an option to interact with something. Doing so will reveal a hidden Poogie.
If you have trouble finding the option, try dismounting from your Monstie and walking around the center of the tower on foot.
Poogie on Top of the Southern Cliff
You’ll find this Poogie on top of a cliff overlooking the southern border of Azuria. While the location itself is easy to reach, it will be guarded by a Chatacabra. You’ll either need to sneak around it or fight it head-on to rescue the Poogie.
Poogie on the Southeastern Cliffs
While walking along the cliffs in the south, players will find yet another Poogie hanging out on a cliff’s edge. This one is located on a row of cliffs overlooking a waterfall and a large hole in the ground.
Poogie Beneath the Southeast Cliffs
Unlike many of the other Poogies in Azuria, this Poogie is found by jumping off of a cliff rather than climbing to its peak. The easiest way to reach it is by traveling to the Catavan Stand by the Sunpetal Plains Lookout Point, then walking towards the western edge of the map. Looking down from here will reveal a secret ledge containing the Poogie and a chest.
Poogie by Sunpetal Plains Pond
Monster Hunter Stories 3 players will find this Poogie near the small body of water by the western edge of Azuria. It will be on a small ledge overlooking the water, so players will want to use a Monstie that can climb to reach the Poogie easily.
Poogie Near a Fork in the Road
On the western side of Azuria, there is a forked road that goes around a large tree. Players will spot a Poogie on the side of the tree facing a row of windmills.
Poogie by the Western Border of Azuria
This Poogie is found resting on the side of a cliff overlooking the northern part of the pond in Sunpetal Plains. Players can climb to this Poogie’s ledge by walking towards the Windmills, then walking up the grassy slopes leading to the border.
Poogie by Northwest Waterfall
Leviathan-type Monsties roam the waters around this Poogie, making rescuing it a dangerous task. However, since it is right next to the northwestern border of Azuria, players can hug the wall while approaching the Poogie to avoid detection by the local Monsties.
Poogie by Azuria Castle’s Southern Bridge
Players will find this Poogie on a small plot of land by the southern bridge leading into Azuria Castle. While it is surrounded by water, the wall next to the Poogie can be climbed by Monsties, so a swimming Monstie is not a requirement to get this Poogie.
Poogie on the Northern Ridge
Climbing up the hill on the northern border of Azuria and walking along the wall will lead players to this Poogie. It will be standing next to a tree at the top of this hill. There are lots of Monsties in the area, so you’ll need to be strong enough to take them on or careful enough to avoid them.
Poogie in the Hidden Pond
Players can reach this Poogie by fast traveling to the Mirror Lake Catavan Stand and swimming north. There will be a small river flowing from the lake to a shallow pond. The Poogie will be in the left corner of this pond drinking its water.
Poogie in the Bushes
This Poogie makes its home in the northwestern area of Azuria. To find it, you’ll need to go all the way to the back of this clearing and look between a set of bushes.
Poogie Beneath Large Tree
This Poogie is completely hidden from view until players find the interaction for it. To find it, players will need to travel to the westernmost part of Azuria. There will be a large dirt area with a singular tree, which is guarded by a strong Monstie.
Creep around the border of the area and make your way to the back of the tree. When you get close enough, an option to interact with an item will appear on the screen. Interact with it to find the hidden Poogie.
Second Poogie in the Western Part of Azuria
In addition to the hidden Poogie beneath the tree, players will find a second Poogie at the southwestern end of this area. It will be standing on a small plot of land by the area’s shallow river.
Poogie to the Right of the Broadleaf Basin Catavan Stand
This Poogie is on one of the many hills overlooking Mirror Lake in the Broadleaf Basin. The easiest way to reach it is by fast traveling to the Broadleaf Basin Catavan Stand and wandering to the right. It will be between two trees near the edge of the hill.
Poogie by the Broadleaf Basin Lookout Point
After fast traveling to the Broadleaf Basin Lookout Point’s Catavan Stand, look west towards the border of the map. There will be a grassy hill with a jagged tree stump on top of it. Fly over and land by that stump to find a Poogie.
Poogie in a Monstie’s Secret Cavern
This is likely the most dangerous Poogie to find in Azuria because it has made its home in a cave guarded by a dangerous Monstie. Players will want to create a powerful Monstie team, preferably including a Monstie that can swim, before they’ll have a chance to rescue this Poogie.
Poogie Hiding on the Large Mirror Lake Island
This Poogie has made its home on the large island in the southwest corner of Mirror Lake. Players will find it standing on a rock next to a shallow pond on the island.
Poogie Found By Ground Diving in North Azuria
Players will need to obtain a Monstie that can Ground Dive before they can get this Poogie. With one of these Monsties in your party, head to the northern part of Azuria to find a hole in the ground. Ground Diving into it will bring players to the top of the neighboring hill.
You will not see the Poogie on top of this hill. Instead, you’ll be met with an icon indicating that there is something to interact with. Press your interact key when this icon appears to make the Poogie appear.
