While players can, in fact, get Fortnite Crew and an additional 1,000 V-Bucks for $1, there is a catch. This offer is only available for first-time Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. As Game Pass subscribers get their first month for only $1, and with Game Pass Ultimate now including Fortnite Crew as one of its benefits, first-time subscribers can technically get the full benefits of Fortnite Crew for a month for just $1.
Before you subscribe to Game Pass Ultimate, make sure that the Epic Games account you use for Fortnite is linked to your Xbox account. Xbox and Xbox PC players can skip this step. However, players on other platforms can complete this step by visiting the Linked Accounts page on the Epic Games website, locating the Xbox Network icon, selecting “Link,” and then logging in to their Xbox Network account.
Once this is set up, complete the following steps to get access to Fortnite Crew for $1:
- Head to Xbox.com and select Join Game Pass.
- Choose Game Pass Ultimate and select Join now.
- Select Join again and complete the on-screen instructions to subscribe to Game Pass Ultimate.
Once your Game Pass Ultimate subscription is active, open Fortnite on an Xbox console, Xbox Cloud Gaming, or Xbox on PC. Xbox Cloud Gaming is the best option for players on other platforms, as no installation is required.
