During the ongoing Pokemon GO Wild Area 2025 Global event, all-powerful Mighty Pokemon are reappearing. These specific Pokemon tend to be higher-leveled than their regular versions, with increased stats and a higher capture rate. This means you will either need to collect some GO Safari Balls to make the process easier or use up your Razz Berries to calm them down.
In this guide, not only will we show off every Mighty Pokemon you can catch during Pokemon GO Wild Area 2025, but also how to find them and the spawn times for each.
Before going into it, please keep in mind that Mighty Pokemon will go away once the event ends on November 16 at 6 pm local time. Also, at the end of each day (Saturday and Sunday), Mighty Pokemon will have an increased spawn rate (specifically from 5:45 pm to 6 pm).
How to Catch Mighty Pokemon in Pokemon GO
Mighty Pokemon will always be in their fully-evolved forms when you encounter them in Pokemon GO. You can tell if a Pokemon on the field is of the Mighty variant if it has a yellow pulsing circle around it. Once you’re in a battle with one, the Pokemon’s CP will have exclamation points instead of digits and, of course, they will be really hard to catch.
During this Wild Area event, there will be particular Mighty Pokemon appearing on Saturday and another batch on Sunday. Also, there’s a list of Mighty Pokemon that will show up for both days if you’re using an Incense to lure them in. Let’s go over the list!

You can also encounter Mighty Pokemon via Research Task rewards during the event. For example, the Lurking Dark Hour field research has a task to catch two Mighty Pokemon, which will reward players with a Mighty Houndoom or Absol encounter. You can also encounter a Mighty Gardevoir or Mighty Obstagoon in the paid special research (depending on the path you choose after the first step).
