Charge Link
Charge Field Upgrades Faster, and With Allies
- Level Required: 30
- Combat Specialty: Strategist
- Description: Faster field upgrade charge rate. Grant this benefit to all allies. Earn score when nearby allies using their field upgrades.
Charge Link is a very tactical Perk in which your Field Upgrade will charge faster. This is pretty beneficial to more tactical modes, and ones where you intend to stick with your allies, as it will also give them the bonus. However, Field Upgrades aren’t make-or-break when it comes to successful loadouts, and they can be safely ignored for the most part. Therefore, a Charge Link Perk would be a waste of a slot unless you really want to get into your Field Upgrade faster.
Dexterity
More Freeing Weapon Movement
- Level Required: 4
- Combat Specialty: Enforcer
- Description: Reduced weapon motion during jumps, wall jumps, slides, and dives. Take less fall damage.
Dexterity is an average Perk in Slot 3 that will not punish you as much for jumping, wall jumping, sliding, and diving while using your weapon. Dexterity negates the movement penalty to your weapon, meaning you have reduced weapon motion so that you can get straight back into the fight without delay or accuracy loss. Dexterity is okay, but there are superior alternatives. If you’re looking for an Enforcer perk to keep you on your toes and always in the action, then try Dexterity.
Bankroll
Get +150 Free Score With Each Life
- Level Required: 23
- Combat Specialty: Enforcer
- Description: Start each life with +150 score toward Scorestreaks.
Building a Scorestreak can be harder than you think, so Bankroll becomes an effective Perk for pushing you to the finish line. With every life, you will start with a +150 Score, and you can build onto that with kills so that you’re getting your Scorestreaks faster. It’s basically starting every life with a free kill already established and banked, but since you can only use a Scorestreak once before you need to die, it can be pretty ineffective, and Bankroll might not be as effective as you would want it to be if you’re prone to death, as you’re going to be in a loop of spawning, getting points, and dying, before you get to actually use a Scorestreak. However, if your loadout is reliant on damage-heavy Scorestreaks, try this one out.
Tracker
Track Enemy Footprints and Receive Intel on Your Next Target
- Level Required: 32
- Combat Specialty: Recon
- Description: See the enemy footsteps in the world. ADSing auto-pings enemies. Killing an enemy shows the direction of the next closest enemy on your minimap.
Tracker allows you to see enemy footsteps in the world, but this is entirely dependent on what perks the enemy is running, as it can be countered with Ghost. However, for those not using Ghost, Tracker becomes essential to track enemies down, especially since so many players will always be running around, so why not track them and catch them? You can also ADS (Aim Down Sights) to auto-ping enemies for you and your team, and if you kill an enemy, the direction of the closest enemy is revealed on the minimap so that you know where you’re heading next. Tracker is great for players who like to get fast kills on unsuspecting foes.
Guardian
Heal Faster When Doing Objectives, and Revive Faster
- Level Required: 50
- Combat Specialty: Strategist
- Description: Faster healing while capturing and holding objectives. Revive downed teammates faster.
Guardian is pretty good for players who rely on Objective-based game modes to get their XP, and for those who enjoy them simply because they’re fun and fast-paced. Holding down an objective or trying to claim one can be a true challenge, especially when grenades are flying overhead, and your healing delay means you’re weak after every fight. With Guardian, that healing is boosted to the max, ensuring that you’re going to heal faster between fights so that you can hold your ground before enemies even think about overwhelming you with their bullets and grenades. You can also revive downed teammates faster, but there are a few game modes where that will actually be needed.
Looper
Re-Earn Scorestreaks in the Same Life
- Level Required: 54
- Combat Specialty: Enforcer
- Description: Gain the ability to re-earn Scorestreaks in the same life.
The meta has changed somewhat, as you can only roll one Scorestreak per life. This means that you might have already used your UAV and CUAV, and these won’t loop back around until you die, essentially meaning you can either stay alive to try and get a Nuke, or you can die to do it all over again. With Looper, you no longer have to die in order to get your Scorestreaks, as you can re-earn Scorestreaks in the same life. This is great for players who are always building a mass of score, but don’t exactly want to ruin their k/d just because they’ve run out of things to earn with said score.
Cold-Blooded
Become Ignored by Scorestreaks, Thermals, and AI-Targetting
- Level Required: 17
- Combat Specialty: Recon
- Description: Undetectable by AI targeting and thermal optics. Player-controlled Scorestreaks don’t highlight you.
Cold Blooded is amazing for Slot 3, as it provides you with an easy out when it comes to enemies constantly throwing AI-controlled scorestreaks your way. When an enemy gets a scorestreak controlled by an AI, you either have to hide, camp in a building, or use all your firepower to kill it. With Cold-Blooded, these scorestreaks can simply be ignored so that you can resume the match as normal, but the same can’t be said for your teammates. If you don’t want to be harmed by scorestreaks, then Cold-Blooded is the way to go. Enemy-controlled scorestreaks can still harm you, but they won’t highlight you, and the same occurs for thermal optics to essentially make you invisible. AI-controlled scorestreaks and Field Upgrades will be no match for your sneaky ways with this Perk equipped.
