Resident Evil Requiem Pre-Order Bonuses and Deluxe Edition Content Revealed

By newsgame

Resident Evil Requiem has confirmed a GameStop exclusive pre-order bonus, its other pre-order bonuses, what’s coming in the Deluxe Edition, and more. Resident Evil Requiem was heavily featured at The Game Awards 2025, with Capcom showcasing a brand-new trailer that finally confirmed what leaked months ago: fan-favorite character Leon S. Kennedy is one of the main characters in the game.

Over the years, the Resident Evil games have been presented in two distinct flavors. There’s the classic, old-school survival-horror approach like the original games and RE7, and then there’s the action-oriented approach like Resident Evil 4-6. The upcoming Resident Evil Requiem will feature both styles of RE, with the Grace Ashcroft sections focused on horror and the Leon sections focused on action. It’s been claimed Resident Evil Requiem players will get to play as Grace and Leon for about the same amount of time, so it’s a half-horror, half-action game.

Resident Evil Requiem is Officially Bringing Leon Back to Raccoon City After 28 Years

Leon S. Kennedy is officially returning to the Resident Evil franchise when Resident Evil Requiem launches next year.

Those sold on Resident Evil Requiem may already be willing to commit to a pre-order, though then they have to decide where exactly they’re going to be pre-ordering from. Other retailers have yet to reveal their potential Requiem exclusive pre-order bonuses, but we know that GameStop will be giving away an exclusive tote bag. The catch is that you have to pre-order Resident Evil Requiem from a GameStop store and pick it up in-person. The tote bags will also only be available while supplies last, so you are not guaranteed to get one if you pre-order Resident Evil Requiem from GameStop.

Resident Evil Requiem Pre-Order Bonuses

  • Tote Bag (exclusive to GameStop while supplies last)
  • Grace Apocalypse Costume

Resident Evil Requiem typically retails for $69.99, but those willing to pay $79.99 for the Deluxe Edition can look forward to some extra content. The Resident Evil Requiem Deluxe Edition includes the main game, five costumes, four weapon skins (including the Apocalypse skin for the S&S M232 and three unspecified), two screen filters, two charms, a special audio pack, and Files: Letters from 1998.

    • Leon’s Costume: Apocalypse

If you are a hardcore Resident Evil fan, the special costumes may be worth the asking price alone. Leon’s iconic look from the Resident Evil 4 remake is part of the package, as is an outfit for Grace that makes her look like the memorable Resident Evil Village villain Lady Dimitrescu. In the meantime, the Raccoon City Classic audio pack and Letters from 1998 files should appeal to fans of Leon’s OG appearance in Resident Evil 2.

As we get closer to Resident Evil Requiem‘s February 27 release date, more potential pre-order bonuses at specific retailers may be revealed. Resident Evil fans will want to keep an eye out for more information on that front, and also potential new trailers as Resident Evil Requiem is right around the corner.
