There have been various Sims 4 events over the years; usually, they come out a couple of weeks before the launch of an expansion pack to promote its release. However, that is not the case this time, as this is simply an event to celebrate the holidays.

The Deck the Palms is a login event, which means players won’t have to complete any quests to unlock its rewards – all they need to do is log into The Sims 4 every now and then before the event comes to an end. This guide will give players a run-through of the event, so they can make sure that they don’t miss out on any of the free, limited-time rewards.

What Is the Deck the Palms Event in The Sims 4?

The Deck the Palms is a login event that will grant players dozens of free rewards simply for logging in.

It is not going to live in anticipation of an upcoming pack, but it is related to the recently released SpongeBob SquarePants kits for The Sims 4, as it features several themed items based on the show.

When Does the Deck the Palms Sims 4 Event Begin?

The Deck the Palms event goes live on December 16, 2024, at 9 AM PST / 12 PM EST. It will be live until January 13, 2026. And during this time frame, players must log in frequently in order to claim the several items that are being given away.

Free event goodies are being given away on nine separate days, and players must log in at least nine times before the end of the event in order to be able to claim them all. If players log in for the first time on January 4, they will still have enough time to unlock all the free items as long as they continue to log in once per day until January 13.

Three of the 21 rewards in this event require players to own certain expansion packs. If players don’t have these expansion packs, they don’t have to worry about missing out on these freebies; if they acquire them in the future, they will be added to their inventory.
