After Expedition 33‘s amazing performance at The Game Awards 2025 and its multiple wins, the developers released a GOTY update. The update, which mainly includes Verso’s Drafts, is a very large area filled with bosses, new outfits, and challenges.

One of these challenges is the Diving Board Minigame that players will come across very early into this area and might find themselves unable to complete the whole thing. This Expedition 33 minigame does offer rewards, so here is how players can find the minigame and complete it.

As soon as you open the game, open the map and check how far you are from Lumiere. If you already closed your game last time out near the city, then you can simply go to the new area to the right of it in the water. It is important to note that to access this area, players will need to complete the second act of the game to acquire Equie’s flying and diving underwater skill.

Once you go inside, from the first checkpoint, go straight towards the body of water and drop down after you spot the Esquie statues on your right. There should be a diving board up ahead with a small Gestral standing on it, blocking your path. You can use your attack to make it fly away and start the minigame. There are three hoops below you that you need to fall into. Before jumping off from the board, make sure to grab Esquiaro, which is a weapon for Monoco.

Now you need to jump down on the hoops one by one. The yellow one, which is the largest, should be easy, and afterwards, you can talk to the Half-baked Gestral nearby for the Colour of Lumina reward.

From there, you can go back to the board and jump from the right side to land on the blue hoop. This might take a few attempts, but it should not be that hard. You can grab the Double Bun Hairstyle for Maelle from the Gestral and head back up for the final hoop.

The small red one is the hardest one to land on. A lot of the players will take hours on this purely because this needs to be done perfectly; otherwise, you will always land on the hoop itself and not inside it. There is no easy method of doing this or using a character that can make the jump easy, but you should not go with Monoco or Lune because of how different their running/floating style is.

Sciel or Malle might be useless for this. You do not need to run across the whole board to make the jump; simply stop near the end and adjust yourself so that you can run towards the leftmost corner of the board and jump. Try to look straight while doing this, as players have reported that this makes it easier to land it.

This might sound weird, but you should not jump while you are on the board and try to jump on the last possible second, which makes your character jump slightly after the board ends. Once you are in the air, you can look down and control your fall slightly to steer towards the middle of the hoop. This will reward you with the French Bob Hairstyle for Monoco.
