How To Find Zeraora in Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension DLC
To find Zeraora in Pokemon Legends Z-A, players need to start EX3 Side Mission Raging Lightning, which is a hidden mission in Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension DLC.
To follow up with this mission first, players must have beaten and captured the following Legendary Pokemon and completed these missions:
Groudon – Hyperspace Mission 13 A Ruby Red Legend
Kyogre – Hyperspace Mission 14 A Sapphire Blue Legend
Rayquaza – Hyperspace Mission 12 The Greatest Gift
Diancie – EX1 Side Mission Shine Bright Like a Gemstone
Mewtwo – EX2 Side Mission Project M
To trigger this secret mission, head to Racine Construction and talk to Tarragon. He will give players a Canari Bread, hold it, and whatever happens, don’t eat it.
Now, travel to Cafe Cyclone (below
Wild Zone 2) look around for a way to enter the inner patio between the buildings and use the Holovator.
Once up, rotate the camera to the right, and observe the scaffolding on the left. Go and climb it. Keep climbing up until there’s nothing but a plank that leads into the nearest building’s rooftop. Roll + Jump, then Roto Glide to reach it.
Continue to the opposite side, then look for a boy with a yellow jacket standing at the end of the U-shaped building. Talk to him and he will say he can ‘trade any item for another.’ Give him the Canari Bread, and he will then give back the Popping Candy.
Now, go back to Hotel Z, and talk to Ansha to trigger a funny cutscene, and let her reveal the new recipe she came up with: The Plasma-Glazed Donut.

How To Craft Plasma-Glazed Donut Recipe for Zeraora in Pokemon Legends Z-A
To proceed further, players need to craft the Plasma-Glazed Donut by mixing up Hyperspace Berries with the following flavor ratios: 40 points in sweet, 200 points in spicy, 400 in sour, 280 in bitter, and 40 in fresh.
To make things simpler, players should go ahead and follow this combination to reach the desired goal:
- 3 Hyper Roseli Berries
- 2 Hyper Babiri Berries
- 1 Hyper Payapa Berry
- 1 Hyper Tanga Berry
- 1 Hyper Charti Berry
Once players craft this Donut they’ll receive a call from Emma. Go to the Station (the area where players first land at the beginning of the game) to meet Emma and Korrine. Together with the players, they’ll face Zeraora in a tough battle.
How To Beat & Catch Zeraora in Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension DLC
During the fight, Mega Zeraora uses five easy-to-dodge moves and one that’s super hard. Let’s break them down, so that players know what they’re dealing with:
- Wild Charge: Mega Zeraora will leap forward and beat the player (or Pokemon), dodge to the side.
- Plasma Fist (Simple): Launches a blast of energy in a line. Also, dodge to the side.
- Electroweb: Avoid standing where it falls, and it’s easy to dodge.
- Dynamic Punch: Causes a lot of damage. But can be avoided by not standing at melee range.
- Plasma Fist (Star Shape): Zeraora jumps in the middle of the arena, and charges a powerful move. Trainers should move as far as possible from the epicenter and dodge by walking slightly to the sides.
- Plasma Fist (Z Shape): This is the most dangerous move. If players see that Mega Zeraora jumps to the sides of the Arena, prepare to dodge. It channels electricity that will gain lots of speed, and cross the arena in a zig-zag pattern.
As players might have guessed, the last attack is the most problematic one in this fight. Try to stay as far as possible form Zeraora, with the Pokemon inside the Poke Ball, then prepare to tap dodge (Y) at the last second.
Be careful, as this wave of energy bounces back from the edges of the arena, and will return to the point of origin (Mega Zeraora) so players might need to dodge several times. Zeraora might spam this attack up to three times in a row.
Once players defeat Zeraora, use whatever Poke Ball looks cooler to catch this wild beast. The Zeraorite needed to Mega Evolve it will come with the pack, so don’t worry about looking around for it. Now, time to enjoy the strongest Electric-type Pokemon in Legends Z-A.
