Balloon Gestral (Romanifo) Location In Clair Obscur Expedition 33

To find the balloon Gestral, Romanifo, teleport to the Reverie Path expedition flag.

Then, walk forward in the same direction to the cake door that needs a Birthday Cake in Expedition 33.

However, instead of going forward to the gingerbread door, turn right when there’s a pool filled with Gestrals.

One of these Gestrals is Romanifo, the Half-baked Gestral who loves balloons. Their location is quite obvious, as there are a lot of balloons behind them.

Pop all the balloons to upset Romanifo. This will initiate a battle when you speak to the Gestral.

How To Beat The Balloon Half-baked Gestral In Clair Obscur Expedition 33

The balloon Gestral doesn’t take damage from any hit, so you shouldn’t waste time trying to hit them. Instead, pay attention to the balloon floating next to them. Popping this balloon will trigger more balloons to appear, so it’s like the “start” button.

When the rest of the balloons appear, keep popping them using Aimed Shots. Each popped balloon will deal around 32,000 DMG to the Half-baked balloon Gestral, and you need to pop six balloons to defeat them.

If you fail to hit six in one turn, Romanifo will regain all of their health, so make sure you’re ready to shoot when you pop the “start” balloon. It helps to learn the spawn pattern of the balloon if you’re struggling.

Beating the balloon Gestral in Expedition 33 will reward players with the Trigger-Happy Pictos, which has the following effect: After shooting 10 times in the same turn, gain +2 AP (once). And following Shots this turn deal 200% more damage.

After closing the battle page, Romanifo will be even more upset and steal 1,000 Chroma from you. Thankfully, you got more than that for beating them, so this isn’t an issue, but rather just a fun interaction.
