The Last Cask Quest Guide

How To Complete The Last Cask in Octopath Traveler 0
After completing Chapter 1 of Master of Wealth in Octopath Traveler 0, players will discover there’s a new Secondary Mission available in Valore. After finding the mysterious Merchant in the Main Boulevard of the town, he will reveal his problem: He is having trouble selling the Last Cask of Valore Vintage Liquor.
Players will automatically accept helping him, and now, the solution for this quest is to find a buyer for the liquor. But the problem is: Where to find this person?
For that, players need to travel to Teathropolis (where players can complete Master of Fame), in the Flatlands Region. To reach this town, take the road from Valore and up the Valore Trail. Then, turn east towards the West Emberglow Wilds. Keep heading east (right), then move to North Teathropolis Plains, and descend (south) to Teathropolis Plains.
If players are having trouble with monsters, try changing the formation. To do so, access the party menu and switch between Front Row (Vanguard) Characters and Back Row (Rear guard) characters. That way, the front line will attack while the back line will recover and even use certain support skills to help the active party members. Remember: You can switch between party members in the front and Back Line during a character’s turn by pressing ZR.
Enter Teathropilis and look for the Tavern. It has a Beer Mug next to the door, so it’s easy to spot. Enter the building and go to the upper right corner, where an NPC dressed in red is available for ‘Inquiring.’
Press the Path Action Key (Y on Switch/Switch 2) and select Inquire. Now, the NPC’s description says something about the main loving Liquor from Valore. But to really complete The Last Cask, the next step will be dropping to the bottom of the Path Action Menu, and selecting ‘Hire.’
Once players have convinced the Noble Liquor Connoisseur as a Helper, it’s time to move back to Valore. Once back there, talk to the merchant again to complete the Quest and receive 3500 Leafs as payment for the trouble.
