5 Activities You Should Do Everyday in Fallout 76
There’s plenty of stuff to do in Fallout 76, so much so that it can be paralyzing for some players. With so many options available, and with such a big world to get lost in, it’s fairly easy to lose track of what you should be doing in the wasteland. Thankfully, there are some activities in Fallout 76 that are perfect for players who want to get a daily routine going.

Grind the Scoreboard
The S.C.O.R.E. Board (or just Scoreboard) in Fallout 76 contains plenty of seasonal rewards for players to claim, including CAMP buildings, outfits, boosters, and weapons. Players unlock the ability to buy Scoreboard items by completing daily and weekly challenges, and the items themselves are bought using Reward Tickets, which are earned by ranking up the Scoreboard.
Scoreboard grinding makes up a decent chunk of the daily Fallout 76 gameplay loop. There’s plenty of stuff to unlock here during every season, and some of the best weapons in the game can be obtained here as well. Ideally, players should knock out their daily and weekly challenges as much as possible while playing so they don’t miss out on any Scoreboard rewards.
Complete Questlines
If you’re new to Fallout 76, we strongly recommend progressing through the game’s many questlines as you play. You don’t need to finish a questline in one go, and you can definitely do them one quest a time, so long as you eventually complete all of them.
Not only do questlines give you tons of rewards, but they also guide you to some of the most important places in the game. Also, some important features, vendors, and NPCs are locked behind certain questlines, such as Vault 79’s Regs who sells item plans for Gold Bullions.
Many of the free expansions in Fallout 76 has a questline for you to play through. If you’re at a loss for things to do, then we strongly recommend doing these.
Participate in Events
Events are the go-to activities for many players in Fallout 76. They’re excellent sources of XP, materials, resources, and more, including Legendary Scrips and Legendary Modules.
Keep in mind that most events have featured enemy types, which means you can use those events to target farm crafting materials. Some even send tons of armed humanoid enemies at you, making them for farming weapons that you can dismantle for weapon mods.
Also, there are certain legendary weapons that can only drop from specific events, such as:
- Elder’s Mark Submachine Gun: Drops from the Beasts of Burden event
- Holy Fire Flamethrower: Drops from the Beasts of Burden event.
- Ancient Sword: Drops from Breach and Clear
- Foundation’s Vengeance Minigun: Drops from Eviction Notice
Hit Your Vendor Currency Caps
Vendors have a limited amount of currency in stock every day, which means you can only get a certain amount of currency from them every 24 hours. Before you go on a farming spree, keep the following caps in mind:
- NPC Vendor Bottle Caps: 1400/2800 per day
- Legendary Scrip Exchange: 500 per day
- Gold Bullion Exchange: 400/800 per day
Daily Ops and Quests
Daily Ops are missions set in instanced dungeons that reward players with a shower of loot, XP, and resources when completed. These can be played alone or with friends, and they can be repeated, though some rewards can only be obtained once per day.
Meanwhile, Daily Quests are side quests given to players by NPCs in the world. They’re also fairly rewarding, and some of them have a chance of rewarding you with rare apparel/outfits.and CAMP plans.
We recommend doing the Daily Quests from the Raider and Settler factions from The Crater and Foundation respectively to get Treasury Notes and faction reputation.
