Best DS20 Mirage & MPC-25 Loadout
Starting off are two of the top-picked weapons in the Season 1 meta right now. The DS20 Mirage is easily one of the best Assault Rifles in the game, being pretty easy to handle recoil-wise, while also sporting decent range to boot. Its damage per shot is not exactly the highest in the category, but for ease of use, it is definitely a good contender.
Likewise, the MPC-25 is also by far one of the best options in its category, decimating players up close. It is fast handling, lightweight, and while its recoil can be difficult to get a handle on at first, with the right build, it is pretty stable. Here are the meta builds for each gun:
-
Best DS20 Mirage Build:
- EAM Reflex Optic (Optic)
- Monolithic Suppressor (Muzzle)
- 17.1” Abdicator Barrel (Barrel)
- Force Stabilizer Handstop (Underbarrel)
- Andean Extended Mag (Magazine)
-
Best MPC-25 Build:
- K&S Compensator (Muzzle)
- 14.5” Vas Ashe Barrel (Barrel)
- Vas Drift Lock Foregrip (Underbarrel)
- MPC Overload Drum (Magazine)
- Reload Sync Unit (Fire Mods)
Best MXR-17 & Kogot-7 Loadout
Next up is a pairing of the MXR-17 and the Kogot-7, two meta options in their respective categories. The MXR-17 is an excellent heavy-hitting option, boasting arguably the cleanest iron sights in the game, along with excellent range. It does have a slightly slower fire rate in comparison to the other ARs, but it remains a competitive option.
As for the Secondary, the Kogot-7 is a new SMG for Season 1 and is already a meta choice. Like many other options in its category, it boasts a fast fire rate, the second highest to be exact, and a super-fast TTK up close. It does suffer from poor range and recoil control, but as a fast swap-to weapon, it is excellent. Here is the best setup for each:
-
Best MXR-17 Build:
- Monolithic Suppressor (Muzzle)
- 17” Greaves Scourage Barrel (Barrel)
- EAM Steady-90 Grip (Underbarrel)
- Vault Extended Mag (Magazine)
- Recoil Sync Unit (Fire Mods)
-
Best Kogot-7 Build:
- Hawker Series 45 (Muzzle)
- 13.5” Cans-05 Barrel (Barrel)
- Vas Drift Lock Foregrip (Underbarrel)
- Vex Expansive Mag (Magazine)
- Buffer Sprint (Fire Mods)
Best Maddox RFB & Razor 9mm
Entering the fray for Season 1 is the Maddox RFB, and it’s definitely a competitive choice in the Warzone meta. Its main quirks are its fast fire rate and its middle-of-the-pack handling, which makes it a rather reliable weapon. It is not exactly the best weapon in the category for long range, mostly covering mid-range engagements, which is perfect for Haven’s Hollow Resurgence.
As for the secondary, the Razor 9mm is a solid pick, ranking as one of the fastest killing SMGs in the game. It boasts an exceptional fire rate for quickly gunning down opponents, but its damage range and recoil control are on the poor side. Here is the best setup for both weapons:
-
Best Maddox RFB Build:
- Lethal Tools ELO (Optic)
- Monolithic Suppressor (Muzzle)
- 24” Assemblage Barrel (Barrel)
- Scarletfront Fast Mags (Magazine)
- Buffer Spring (Fire Mods)
-
Best Razor 9mm Build:
- H-9mm Precision Comp (Muzzle)
- 13” RL-Genesys Barrel (Barrel)
- Lateral Precision Grip (Underbarrel)
- Zealot Extended Mag II (Magazine)
- Haste Ribbed Grip (Rear Grip)
Best VS Recon & Peacekeeper MK2 Loadout
Looking for a solid Sniper loadout? Then start with the VS Recon, arguably the best of the Sniper Rifles with the Black Ops 7 x Warzone integration. The VS Recon is a one-shot headshot at all ranges, paired with the highest damage per shot. It may not have the highest bullet velocity, but its damage range is by far the best among Black Ops 7 options.
As for the secondary, the Peacekeeper MK1 may just be the best Sniper support option. The gun handles more like an SMG than an Assault Rifle and outperforms all SMGs at range. With a fast fire rate and a quick TTK, it is definitely a great weapon. Here is the best setup for each:
-
Best VS Recon Build:
- Monolithic Suppressor (Muzzle)
- 23.9” G-Force Barrel (Barrel)
- MFS R-Stop Handguard (Underbarrel)
- R-1 Shelf Grip (Rear Grip)
- 7.62 NATO Overpressured (Fire Mods)
-
Best Peacekeeper MK1 Build:
- Lethal Tool ELO (Optic)
- K&S Compensator (Muzzle)
- 25” EAM Heavy Barrel (Barrel)
- Lateral Precision Grip (Underbarrel)
- Barrage Extended Mag (Magazine)
Best MK.78 & Carbon 57 Loadout
Last up is a pairing of easily two of the most slept-on weapons in Warzone, the MK.78 and the Carbon 57. It is easy to see why the MK.78 may not be players’ go-to. Its handling is on the slower side since it is an LMG, which definitely makes it a little less versatile than many Assault Rifles. However, its damage is excellent, and as a long-range weapon where players can dump out rounds thanks to its already large magazine, it is a solid pick.
Likewise, the Carbon 57 also boasts a large magazine by default, which is a must if players want to run an option without having to slow down its reload speed by adding an extended magazine. It may not rank as the fastest-killing option in the SMG category, but its first damage-range drop-off is slightly better than the Dravec 45 by default, making it an excellent SMG for the mid-range. It also has relatively low recoil.
Here is the best setup for both weapons:
-
Best MK.78 Build:
- EMT3 Holo MK.2 (Optic)
- Monolithic Suppressor (Muzzle)
- 25” EAM Heavy Barrel (Barrel)
- Bowen Sentry Foregrip (Underbarrel)
- Accelerated Recoil System (Fire Mods)
-
Best Carbon 57 Build:
- K&S Stalker 57-X (Muzzle)
- 14” Rockleigh Barrel (Barrel)
- Lateral Precision Grip (Underbarrel)
- Compact-246 Fast Mag (Magazine)
- Puck-57 Grip (Rear Grip)
