All Quests in Fallout 76 Burning Springs

By newsgame

The scorching region of Burning Springs in Fallout 76 has a lot to offer for fans who are looking for new places to explore, and there’s a relatively short story to be experienced there as well. Post-apocalyptic Ohio has its own share of troubles, and you’ll eventually find yourself entangled with some of the region’s pressing issues. Whether or not you decide to help out is a different matter, of course, but if you’re interested in what Fallout 76 has been cooking for the Burning Springs update, here’s a look at all the main missions and side quests that the update added.

The Burning Springs expansion introduced a questline composed of 4 missions. It’s not much, but this is only the first part of a longer story, as mentioned in previous dev posts, and given how the old Steel Dawn storyline got expanded with Steel Reign, getting a sequel to Burning Springs isn’t that farfetched of an idea. The main quests are as follows:

  1. Welcoming Committee
  2. Might Makes Right
  3. Insurrection
  4. When the Rust Settles

Completing the Burning Springs main questline rewards you with plans for signs, Rust Raider outfits, the Mounted Deathclaw Matriarch head, and the Rust King’s Throne.

Most players should take around 2 hours to complete the Burning Springs main questline, though that’s assuming that they make a beeline for the quest objectives and are geared enough to deal with tough enemies easily. The Welcoming Committee quest in Fallout 76 should be a good benchmark for your power level; if you have trouble fighting the Rust King’s raiders in that quest, then you may want to get some upgrades first.

There are only two side quests in the Burning Springs update, but unlike the main quests, these are bound to take a ton of time.

The first quest is called Dirty Laundry, and players automatically get it after they pick up an Abraxodyne Intel case for the first time. The quest involves finding all 150 Abraxodyne Intel cases scattered throughout Burning Springs. Quest markers will not point you toward any of the cases, so you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled when exploring.

The second quest is Bounty Hunting: Grunt Hunt. This is a repeatable side quest that will send you out into the wasteland in search of a target to eliminate. Each mission can be completed fairly quickly, but since they’re repeatable, you can keep doing Grunt Hunt quests until you’re satisfied. Eventually, you’ll be able to start Head Hunt public events through the wanted posters you get from Grunt Hunts.

Grunt Hunts and Head Hunts are great for farming stuff you might need to make your next Fallout 76 build.
