ARC Raiders Players Aren’t Happy With Another Game-Breaking Exploit

By newsgame

The ARC Raiders community is calling for developer Embark Studios to release an urgent update for the third-person extraction shooter, as yet another game-breaking exploit has been discovered on the map Blue Gate. While ARC Raiders has received rave reviews from both players and critics, becoming one of the standout multiplayer games of 2025, there have been numerous exploits and glitches that have a severe effect on gameplay. The latest discovery allows players to once again access parts of the map they shouldn’t be able to, making it impossible for them to be killed.

With the latest entries in the Battlefield and Call of Duty franchises releasing on October 10 and November 14, respectively, a large portion of the gaming community believed ARC Raiders was doomed for failure when Embark Studios committed to releasing its second game slap bang in the middle of the two behemoth shooters. But it’s a gamble that appears to have paid off in a massive way. Not only has Embark’s newest title been nominated for Best Multiplayer Game at the Game Awards 2025, but ARC Raiders‘ player count has also continued to skyrocket, maintaining its position as one of the most-played Steam games right now.

ARC Raiders Has Another Serious Exploit

While the game has found huge success, it hasn’t been without its issues, and the latest one is another severe exploit. Over the last few days, numerous posts have begun appearing on social media as players continue to encounter others glitching out of the map on Blue Gate. The exploit appears to be happening in the exact same place, on the outskirts of Checkpoint near a small building, which is also an entrance to the underground tunnel system. Somehow, players are finding a way to glitch their way behind the terrain and thus go under the map. From here, they are then able to eliminate other Raiders without the risk of being killed themselves. It’s not encouraged for players to try this, as exploits such as these can lead to a ban if reported by other players.

As expected, the response from fans hasn’t been great. Another user who also ran into a player exploiting in the same spot took to Reddit and said that it “needs to stop.” Others chimed in and called players glitching out of the map “pathetic,” while one user even said this was the kind of thing that makes them “want to leave the game forever.” While there has been a lot of discussion around the PvP aspect of ARC Raiders, with many becoming upset at being betrayed by other players, the community is calling out these numerous exploits as the real factor ruining what is otherwise an incredibly enjoyable game.

Sadly, this isn’t the first time that such an exploit has angered ARC Raiders players. It was only over the last week or two that a similar issue reared its head on the map Stella Montis, after certain individuals discovered a way to get out of the map and walk freely along the ceiling without other players being able to see them. Once again, this exploit offers a massively unfair advantage to those doing it. And in a game like ARC Raiders, where players risk losing their gear and items every time they load into a raid, it’s an issue that has to be addressed promptly by Embark.

Hopefully, the studio will see the complaints from players and release a hotfix as soon as possible. Embark did please the community last week when it deployed a new update for ARC Raiders that addressed the infamous locked door exploit. The glitch in question was allowing players to gain access to rooms that usually require a keycard. While it’s still possible to do so, anybody caught exploiting their way into a locked room will now meet their demise as flamethrowers will ignite the entire room, burning the player alive.
