Grand Theft Auto Online Players Can Get $500,000 In-Game for Free

By newsgame

Grand Theft Auto Online developer Rockstar Games has launched a new promotion that gives players the chance to earn $500,000 in-game by simply linking their Discord and Rockstar accounts. This is just the latest Grand Theft Auto Online promotion launched by the studio that rewards players with in-game currency, and for those who regularly use Discord, it’s possibly the simplest one to date.

Rockstar Games is no stranger to freebies and giveaways, especially when it comes to Grand Theft Auto Online. The studio regularly gives away in-game currency and items as part of special promotions, with the most recent being back in August when Rockstar announced it would be giving away $1,000,000 in-game to all Grand Theft Auto Online players who logged into the game during a set period. To sweeten the deal, the studio even announced that it would be giving an additional $1,000,000 to those who were subscribed to GTA+, the game’s monthly subscription service, which also comes with tons of other benefits.

GTA 6 Fans Think a New Feature Is Being Tested in GTA Online’s Next Update

Grand Theft Auto 6 fans believe developer Rockstar Games may secretly be testing a new feature as part of December’s new GTA Online update.

Although not quite as lucrative as the previous promotion, Rockstar Games is now giving players the chance to earn $500,000 for free, no GTA+ subscription required. To do so, players simply need to link their Discord accounts with their Rockstar Games account, the latter of which all players should have as it is required to play Grand Theft Auto Online. The full instructions for earning the money can be found below, and it will be deposited into players’ GTA Online bank accounts within 72 hours of the accounts being linked.

How To Get $500,000 for Free in GTA Online

For those who regularly play Grand Theft Auto Online, investing in a monthly subscription to GTA+ is another great way to get more GTA$ each month. Unfortunately, the service is only available to those on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, which means PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners are out of luck. Thankfully, Rockstar has made the subscription as lucrative as possible. For just $7.99 USD per month, subscribers will receive an additional $500,000 per month, access to the Vinewood Club with a 100-car garage and a free vehicle each month, discount on Shark Cards, exclusive CEO benefits, and much more.

The service even has something for those looking to play more than just Grand Theft Auto Online, as Rockstar has been regularly updating the Games Library for GTA+ with more and more games. Titles such as Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, Bully, L.A. Noire, and other classic Rockstar games are all included as part of the monthly cost.

Purchasing a monthly subscription isn’t ideal for everyone, especially given the current state of the global economy, but with in-game money being a vital element of Grand Theft Auto Online, it’s definitely something all die-hard players should consider. The live-service title has been going strong for nearly thirteen years now, and has accumulated tons of content over that time thanks to a steady stream of major Grand Theft Auto Online updates. Which is why GTA$ are as important as ever; with a wealth of vehicles, weapons, properties, and businesses to purchase, Grand Theft Auto Online revolves around money, and those without it can easily be left behind.

Players will also need to start saving up for the highly anticipated Mansions update for Grand Theft Auto Online. After being leaked earlier this year, the big December update is finally set to launch later this month, adding new properties to purchase for a heavy fee. Details on the update are still scarce, but the community is already gearing up to purchase what will likely be Grand Theft Auto Online‘s most expensive properties to date.
